No point telling me why you think I’m wrong I’m happy to be wrong, but I think RF matters are opaque, stifled by arcane traditions, political and a bit sinister and I don’t discount anything.

@DandyAF I think as long as KC holds the private citizens line I think "proper" royal settings , no they won't be seen , by which I mean the Cenotaph , balcony etc. Where there may get to be a grey area is for example the Ascot Royal Enclosure where there might be photo opportunities galore. But , as you very well know 😉, I have been wrong before.

What about Wimbledon, will they be in the Royal box?

If they both end up on the family church walk, Ascot or Wimbledon it will be a clear indication they are both firmly back in the door.

But I doubt M will ever be in the door.

Think of the many years Fergie was frozen out but Andrew was in. Even if he is the one who should have been frozen out. Yes they were technically divorced but they lived together for decades before his manky business became public knowledge

I making this stuff up off the top of my head now , but I think Wimbledon Royal box , on a day Catherine wasn't there doesn't necessarily signal firmly back in the fold in any meaningful public way. & I'm guessing it is allocated seating so they wouldn't necessarily be front and centre. Lots of people are invited to that who have nothing to do with the RF. Family Church walk at Christmas I think much more of an indication even though it's a "family event." It just looks more royal ( well to me) .
There will be those events though which the are designated proper "Royal" events and I doubt we'll see them at those , at least for the foreseeable. This is one opinion though and I am not privy to KC's or W's diaries 😊

I think that’s one of the main reasons for this bizarre move - they want their children to be royal. When they flounced off, rubbishing royal life, somehow they didn’t think the full implications through.

Last night’s reveal - H will stay in the U.K. to watch A play rugby every Saturday (really? In May?) and they will return to the USA during school holidays with M flitting back and forth. Nice carbon footprint, folks.

If they are slowly working their way back in, it would be something for Dianas anniversary next year, then low key family events first, the walk to church at Christmas, probably the same at Balmoral.

But i don't think, Charles will be publicly seen anywhere near either of them for a while. He doesn't trust them to keep photos of a private visit private and not sell them for a quick buck.
