GBNews reporting Harry and Megan moving back to the UK

GBNews are reporting that Harry and Megan are moving back to the UK at the end of August.

I won't believe it until I hear it on the BBC.

@Laundrybasketfull why would we want them back? We are a bunch of unsafe racists so why would they want to come back?

@WildGarlicSoup I was wondeing if Charles spencer has influence in this as well.
Also Charles spencer has a book coming out which I'm sure won't be too flatering about the royals and Diana .

It's a good thing and I'm glad they are doing it.

I know Harry wants his Freedom Flight video scrubbed but most of us remember it .
Likewise most of us remember the OW “ interview” as PP was dying , Spare etc etc .
We remember H’s tantrums about security, M’s accusations of racism.
It’s all there yet for some inexplicable reason we are supposed to think it’s good that HAM are moving back to the U.K. ?
His father was diagnosed with cancer two and a half years ago ; are we honestly meant to believe H suddenly wants to reconcile ?
No, H knows that once W is in charge he is fully out so is coming back to ensure he and the HAMlets stay in the LOS and the headlines .
If they really are living their best lives as we are supposed to believe , there is no way M would set foot here again .

Prince Charles wasn't kind to his parents either in his tell all book and managed to keep a relationship with them.
He also gave very damaging TV interviews along with Diana about very personal stuff which damaged Harry esp when he and William were in school .so it's a well trodden path and I'm sure Charles understands this

I think this is just another really sad chapter in their story, it’s nothing to do with Charles, it’s clearly they can’t make it work in the USA. They made such a mess of it,

All their deals have gone, their charity is a mess, they’ve limited if any friends, the a list aren’t interested, so they are scarpering, hoping to slowly ingratiate themselves back into the fold before Charles dies, as they’ve no chance with William, so I’d assume if anything Charles is actually doing very well health wise.

i think what we will see is lots of now pseudo royal activities, more tours, more photo ops with sick kids, or homeless people or anything else to tug the heart strings as they try to get back to where they were before they blew it all up.

Given the icy relations between BP and Monteico, Harry's book and multiple furious interviews, the lack of invitation to Meghan when the Queen was dying and the multiple statements put out by BP, it's pretty clear that Charles hasn't understood. He quite clearly doesn't think of her fondly. Whether you think he should is another matter but the relationships between the RF and Harry and Meghan are clearly very strained.

Why do you care if someone else does. Why so angsty about it.

You aren’t seriously comparing Charles’s book ( which I have read) to the vitriolic outpourings from HAM over the past 6/7 years ?

I agree with the interview Charles gave.

However Harry and his wife, through omid scobie, told the world, that Charles and Kate were racists, which not even my Republican mother believed. That some members of the royal family are racist I can believe. Those two? No not buying it.

No I don’t think he understands either, likely as it’s not fathomable for most. Yes Charles wrote a book but it was nothing like Harry’s, it’s not even remotely comparable.

some of the stuff they did was horrific, especially as a lot of it was lies. I watched an interview in the USA he did, where he was basically doing shots and saying fuck the royals,

they thought they were all that and were going to have huge success, hang out with a listers, but the fact neither of them have any talent really and right minded people found their behavuour distasteful , they have got themselves into a position where the American dream is over.

If the King is deteriorating, then the Royal family are going to be even shorter of “working” members. William and Kate have always been work shy and there’s nothing to think that this won’t continue if William becomes King. Their children are too young to participate meaningfully and Andrew has obviously been retired. Princess Anne works remarkably hard, but she is in her mid 70s. Harry himself remains popular in the UK, especially amongst young people and that is the exact demographic that the RF needs to play to if they are to survive long term.

His parents crime were to be cold distant senior royals.
Charles on the other hand has a litany of far worse mistakes to his name stating off with marrying Diana when he wanted Camilla. It's heart breaking that Diana saw gifts for Camila when she was about to be married and walking down the aisle she saw Camilla. The argument at Annabel's when she turned up and caught Camilla and Charles together and said i just want my husband. It's all so so sad.

I feel so sorry for the Prince and Princess of Wales. They must have rejoiced thinking that the Sussexes were safely in the US and now here they are on their doorstep. What a thing to wake up to!

I’m pretty happy with the RF we already have here.

How is Christmas going to work as an example? I’m not sure that the walkabout at Sandringham will work with them there.

I personally don’t have an issue with PH and M they just seem confused and overly emotional. However I did feel upset for PP and TQ in their final days and years. I also feel that KC was treated shabbily especially when he walked her down the aisle. I never thought him as racist as it’s as everyone knows that he had a crush on one of the three degrees. I felt sorry for the POW as she had so much to contend with. Again I feel that she was tarred unfairly and whatever she may have or may not have said were wrongly interpreted. How can all that ever be overcome?

So overall not sure how this will all work out or what motivated the sudden move.
