Anyone else find it to be supremely arrogant to talk to the pipers whilst they are playing? In the video, Harry says, "she means pipes and drums, pipes and drums," as if the pipers had been paying attention to Megan and as if Harry thought the pipers would give a shit what he had to say.
It's just bizarre. They were nobodies at this event.

IIRC there is a "wake-up" bagpiper at Balmoral when the King is in residence - plays under the bedroom windows for 15 minutes every morning 😂

Yes, these are fundraising events. There are a couple of big names invited to attract others to come, everyone else buys the ticket. And is usually expected to spend generously on the associated activities e.g. an auction

Re Oprah , I wouldn't think , unless there is some extraordinary change of circumstances Oprah would want to be reminded of sitting in a chair opposite H&M. If nothing else she would surely feel she had to ask eg "last time I interviewed you , you said Archie wasn't going to be made a Prince because of the colour of his skin , what say you now?" & I shouldn't think H&M would be up for that.

It looks like Oprah is only coming to Ireland on 14th September and Donald Trump on the 12th September

Remember they were invited by the late Queen in 2019 but said it was too far for Archie to travel . They did however manage to travel by private jet to Elton’s place in S France !
Only time Meghan was keen to go to Balmoral was in September 2022 . Wonder why ?
