It's a lovely name, but Adelaide Brooksbank is a bit of a mouthful! Maybe they'll call her Heidi as a sweet nickname.

They refer to the two boys as Augie and Ernie so I think she’s off on to be Addie

I take it Annina is the Portuguese bit? I'm surprised they went in that direction, that connection is a pretty tenuous. Then again, I gave my son an Irish name and I'm not Irish so I shouldn't comment! 😆

It’s a good choice I think; the vibe fits with August and Ernest, it’s a sensible, sophisticated, underused name and the nn Addie is cute.

It's interesting how Eugenie is making hers royal adjacent though.

A bit like Harry. They need to get rid of all HRH titles for non direct line descendants. So no Princess Lilibet but no Princess Eugenie either, and no HRH for Charlotte and Louis children. It breeds this desperate entitlement to be Royal adjacent.

Her children are children of a princess, so half their "blood" is royal. I can't see the problem with people who are actually royal using royal family names for their children. If a random Josephine Bloggs had called her daughter that name nobody would care one bit.
