Why is Dan Wootton so obsessed and full of hatred for Harry & Meghan?

i recently listened to Spare on audible - purely because it was free and I was interested to see what he had to say. ( most of it was boring self indulgent crap imo)
predictably the algorithms have filled my YouTube with H &M stuff!

it seems there is a daily barrage of videos from DW about them, such vitriol from this man. It’s unhinged!
I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan of theirs at all but Jesus he acts like they murdered his granny.
He’ll post a picture of one of them literally smiling and turn it into a massive conspiracy theory about smirking at the Queen on her deathbed or some utter nonsense

If she was an invented character, the show would be one of the most popular comedies on TV

I think she (or they) have to, because sharing these pictures always makes headlines. They really need the headlines and they need people talking about them. Also they very much want to share details of the children's lives. It's important to them to keep the children visible as well, it's a family promotion I think. So it's hardly surprising that it's a topic of discussion. Just how they like it.

So why are you obliging them? People aren't forced to engage in their content, and it seems the vast majority of people who are keeping them relevant are people who moan about them. It's like an addiction.

I think you have the wrong poster. I'm not moaning about them. I'm interested. In all honesty, if that's what they want to do, they should go for it. Plenty of celebrities are like that, they're no worse than many.

Dan Wootten is a very unpleasant man. He needs to get together with Jeremy Clarkson, Piers Morgan and all of them go for group therapy for their total obsession with Meghan (and Harry to some degree). I could name some other people who should join them too!

However, forgetting therapy they could try this.... "I'm a middle aged man with an embarrassing problem"

I think we all know that the sheer volume and vitriolic content of the criticism against them

What a very odd perspective! , so because you or others don’t like someone they should totally change their own opinion to the opposite if it coincides with the opinion of said person!! 🤔

I actually don't think any of them are obsessed with Meghan per se. They are obsessed with contraversy and division because that gets the most clicks and hence the most revenue. It helps that Harry seems to have to clapback at everything because it keeps the story going but Clarkson and Morgan in particular have always focused on divisive stories and individuals.

Reddit and X in particular have very active, and far more unpleasant, comment strands and sub reddits. Not just about Meghan and Harry of course. The whole royal family attracts really toxic comment from various different groups. It can get a bit heated here but Reddit and X are by many many degrees more vicious and polarised. I've made the mistake on reading a couple of threads there and quickly realised it isn't the place for nuance or balance. At least here we mostly agree to leave children alone when commenting, as one example.
