Why is Dan Wootton so obsessed and full of hatred for Harry & Meghan?

i recently listened to Spare on audible - purely because it was free and I was interested to see what he had to say. ( most of it was boring self indulgent crap imo)
predictably the algorithms have filled my YouTube with H &M stuff!

it seems there is a daily barrage of videos from DW about them, such vitriol from this man. It’s unhinged!
I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m no fan of theirs at all but Jesus he acts like they murdered his granny.
He’ll post a picture of one of them literally smiling and turn it into a massive conspiracy theory about smirking at the Queen on her deathbed or some utter nonsense

I found a very interesting DW piece on Substack so I’ve linked it below. It’s a long read but DW goes into detail, some of it quite shocking, on what he (and his partner) were put through in an organised smear campaign to get rid of him.

It goes not only some way to explain why he speaks out as he does, but also why he is despised by supporters of H&M.

This is Piers Morgan last week discussing his firing from GMB due to Meghan Markle. It’s all astounding how she got away with trying to destroy his career and livelihood, on what we now know was mostly a pack of lies.

Piers probably posted a few gifs on his twitter page to bully and torment her too so she had no choice but to run to the bosses and complain.

It was because he was very vocal on TV immediately after the Oprah interview in pointing out what he viewed as lies and embellishments, I think he counted 17 lies, subsequently he was proven right by Harry walking back the racism claim and the kids title claims were lies too, , and he wasn’t the only one to cast doubt on her comments about claiming she was suicidal when pregnant and being turned away by palace employee HR. So it was a lot more than a few gifs on twitter.

He had her number immediately, she had a lot of influence at that point, and used it, to get people sacked from their jobs, the same wouldn’t happen now thankfully. Journalists have said a lot worse about her since then.

I don’t think Piers has always covered himself with glory.

He was right on that occasion though and for him to be dismissed in the way that he was, was nothing short of a disgrace.

I believe that H&M truly thought they were riding on a crest of a wave following the OW interview.

They did not want pesky Piers rocking their boat.

It was a sorry state of affairs. Imagine being dismissed for stating your opinion about those who were miserly with the truth.

Imagine demanding someone be sacked for telling the truth.

This is honestly chilling even if half true.
It explains why he seems so angry and focused on them.

ITV seems strangely fond and supportive of the Sussex’s

From Alison Hammond, to Christ Shit to the various terrible shows.

Has Sky bought ITV, and aren’t they a bit more Sussex Skeptical ?

Time will tell.

I absolutely do not like those trying to hold court, squashing down any unfavourable opinions and worse, trying to banish people for the ‘crime’ of seeing right through them. It is like a childish tantrum with terrible consequences.

It is pretty horrific to me.

Anyway. I may actually watch DW’s section about the court goings on today.

It will be interesting to see if the insurance comes through or not.

I should imagine that they will be looking for any reason not to pay. Like someone exaggerating or lying.

Not often I swear on here, but fucking hell, that article, the masterminds of that campaign should be in prison. I don’t blame DW one bit, in fact I’m surprised he doesn’t do more videos on them, I hope eventually he gets his well deserved revenge, I will use that popular expression that’s used for HAM, good for him! 👏👏👏

I find it really sinister, even more so after reading that article.

@IAmATorturedPoet for posting that article, it has really opened my eyes to the sinister workings of the squad and who is behind it which I was not aware of before, let’s hope it opens other people’s eyes who also may not be aware. I really feel for Dan, his partner, William, Catherine and Camilla who have had to suffer at their hands.

It’s a real eye opener isn’t it.

It really is shocking and highlights just how sinister the squad are and the lengths they will go to.
I’m sure there are a lot of people that aren’t aware of what’s been going on so it’s good to have it all there in black and white (with receipts).

Having read Anthony White KC’s strong argument for indemnity costs for ANL I think, with or without insurance, Harry’s going to be squealing all the way to the bank!

Have been following the thread with interest.

I watched a few of DW's videos some time ago but they're not to my taste - a bit too sensational, and vary by which guest is there. I don't think I've ever watched a PM programme.
That said, I think the way both have been treated is horrendous.

I don't think the Sussex Squad/H&M have the same power to affect people now. In my opinion, that was part of the social media frenzy around BLM.
There are other causes at present that are resulting in people losing their positions if they don't happen to say the right thing.

Piers Morgan has recently started a spin-off (from his news channel, Piers Morgan Uncensored) called Uncensored Royals, hosted by Jo Elvin (previous host of Palace Confidential) and Katie Nicholl (Vanity Fair / previous DM).

(I watched the first episode of UR, which is how I discovered what PM is now doing.)

Yes ! , it’s always best to stick to facts autumn , talking of the ANL thread and seeing that @bluegreygreenhas joined us here …..I’m beginning to see or feel that there is some sort of cross over between these topics?
