Maybe Netflix didn't have any other "outstanding lifestyle shows" I must check. Queer Eye is finished I think

Hope you're going to add them to everything, @TheHatTrick 😄

That and everything bagel seasoning.

Meghan's MasterChef episode is screening in Australia on July 26. Apparently the contestants are asked to make a dish 'fit for a Duchess'.

Wonder if the contestants have to bow and curtsy ?

Was this filmed during their faux royal tour ?

"Do you think they would be annoyed if I just did a jewellry one?
Not even current new pieces, but older pieces.
Im a bit obsessed and my poor DD is sick of playing ‘let’s look at jewellry’."
@DaisyDooley I'd love a thread like that on here - I get awfully lost in Style and Beauty! I think the jewels and history of the RF are fascinating!

Imagine asking EJ for money ffs. He's utterly shameless

tbf, it was Elton who introduced Harry to the Bouffanted one. Deliberately by all accounts, in order to get Harry on board with the litigation against ANL.

Justdancevance · 14/07/2026 22:05

EJ stuck his oar in with George Michael. EJ is great for invading others privacy in his autobiography like Harry.

EJ didn’t like his own dirty linen aired hence the superinjunctions. He’d be quite happy to weaken press rights to keep his own shenanigans under wraps

George Michael was a lovely guy, so I’m not a fan of EJ, he’s a repulsive toad

The team that worked with her probably deserve a medal.

Or possibly sainthood. 😁

Starryfifty · 14/07/2026 22:15

The run up to the Emmys will be insufferable

Lunde · 14/07/2026 22:23

bluegreygreen · 14/07/2026 21:02

I've no idea why either.

It's not like there's a specific requirement for a Princess of Wales to be able to ride (and we don't even know that Catherine can't, or that they don't ride as a family, all we know is that she's allergic to horses).

Edited

Catherine is allergic to horses - she's spoken of it

Must make royal events a huge trial with the horses in processions

Lunde · 14/07/2026 22:25

I've just seen that the Daytime Emmy Awards is something you can nominate your own show for - if you pay the $400-500 submission fee 😂

BemusedAmerican · 14/07/2026 22:25

Rhaidimiddim · 14/07/2026 20:57

Horror, surely.

For those praising the backgrounds and production values, I agree that the episode showing the ovens being used as storage for cardboard boxes was exemplary in these respects.

The running joke in NYC is that New Yorkers used their ovens for clothing storage.

I actually cook and use mine - I do store baking sheets in it.

Enjoy, they are a great way to add vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants without using supplements and its all natural. I buy butterfly pea flowers and use it to make tea, it's full of antioxidants and great for reducing inflammation, plus its a gorgeous blue colour and if you add an acid like lemon it changes it to purple which I use in cocktails so always a bit of showstopper when I have people over.

I do the same but with butterfly pea gin 😁

Imagine thinking Meghan Markle personally whipped out her credit card to Venmo the Emmy committee $400. 😂

Netflix has a massive, dedicated Awards Team that only submits the ones they actually think are good enough to win. Paid entry is the universal rule for the Emmys, Oscars, Grammys, and Tonys because that fee covers the administrative costs, screening software, and staff to run the process. The peer judges are the ones who evaluate hundreds of submissions to choose the final nominees and winners.

Look, it's fine if you don't like her but making it out like this nomination was just 'bought' isn't nice becuase you're also completely discrediting the entire production crew who worked on it and they deserves this recognition without having their hard work dismissed.

BemusedAmerican · 14/07/2026 22:48

Catherine may be taking medication before the horse events. My SIL is allergic to cats, so takes something before she comes to a family gathering ( we all have multiple cats). She's fine with dogs for some reason.

She whipped out her credit card to buy a sofa for a Prince of England, so yes, I expect she did exactly that to pay for her award. It's how they both get awards nowadays. Remember that H is a "Legend of Aviation" etc etc.

You can criticise charity honors all you want, but claiming you can whip out a personal credit card to buy a Television Academy nomination just shows you don't actually understand how the Hollywood industry works. It takes two minutes to look up the difference.

Mark Dolan's take down of Harry's podcast is very enlightening, since I haven't listened to the podcast and was unaware of some of the details Mark goes into.
It starts with Harry being very belligerent and somewhat aggressive to the show's hosts. It's so weird - why is he like that? Does he think he's being funny in some way? He was rude to John Travolta - Hollywood Royalty. He's rude to these guys. Isn't the normal format when one goes on a podcast to gush what a fan of the podcast you are and how pleased you are to be invited on? That would be far to humble for Just Call Me Harry.

There's no way he can ever be allowed back in the WRF - he's far worse now than whatever he was like before with youthful indiscretions (putting it kindly) smoothed over by MIGS, now he's a rude, blustering, total liability. Well on the way to Andrew mark 2.

ShamedBySiri · 14/07/2026 23:47

I do feel for the Royals, specifically Charles and William whom it falls to to manage the Harry problem. H&M are only in early/mid 40's - there's likely to be another 40 years of this. Harry needs a meaningful occupation to fill his time and they both need money. Lots of it. How are they to get it? The Royal family can't possibly bail them out for the next 40 years. If - big IF - Harry +/- Meghan gave up on life in the USA and slithered back home, tail between his legs, they'd end up having to give him somewhere to live on a Royal estate somewhere with security and pay for him for the rest of his life.

I honestly don't know how this will end.
But I'm here for the soap opera/car crash what will happen next.
