It seems that he didn't gush about Meghan in the Marler interview....I think that speaks volumes.

I get that he's joking about the hair and being bullied but I think it's a really stupid joke...given his position and that everything he says makes headlines it's a pity he doesn't use his platform in a more interesting and responsible way.

If your joke didn't land and no one's sure if it was a joke or not, it wasn't a good joke and or was not well delivered. I would suggest running your material past people who'll be honest with you, not those who will just say it's great, possibly because they're worried you will shout at them or fire them otherwise.

BTW I'm now waiting to see what is leaked about visiting Althorp. They were warned not to leak about Highgrove. Can they keep silent on other visits?

It's staggering how dumb he is and yes what happened to philanthropist/humanitarian ? Or indeed full time husband

PH must have sensed that JM and pal were mocking him - even if it wasn’t verbal it would have been implicit in the tone and body language. They would have ripped him another one if he landed the grandiose humanitarian and philanthropist titles - also it would be delusional and disingenuous as where is Sentebale, Africa Parks, Archewell?

No mention of his chimpo role when discussing his occupation. Has that ship sailed for him?

I'd love a job that paid me a million quid a year and was so easy that I actually forgot about it.

ForAmberPoster · 14/07/2026 10:21

I don’t care for Marler, Haskell or Tindall - all 3 have dubious history, easy to find on google but seem to have been accepted. I wouldn’t listen to the podcast anyway and certainly not to hear Harry.

The royal family must be exhausted by his behaviour, I am. He is the guest that won’t leave - a toilet related phrase comes to mind too.

Hard agree. “Don’t feed the pigeons” would be my suggestion.

Just ignore and don’t allow the derail. It’s boring.

Agreed. When the posts were littered with typos and illogical claims they were easier to spot. Now they’re using AI to clean up their mess. You just waste more time reading long winded essays trotting out the same tripe.

Is he that short-sighted and that malicious that his own DC emotional hurt is deemed acceptable collateral damage in his efforts to get what he wants.

@DJPJ I think yes is the answer to that…

Exactly

Ohpleeeease · 14/07/2026 10:35

In the interests of balance I’m holding my nose and considering this from another perspective. In that podcast all the crudity and coarse banter was very much led by the host. H tried to go with the flow and put on a performance. He may not have been as comfortable as he sounded.

But this is where he went wrong. He was led into danger and he didn’t see it. I don’t like comparisons between H and W because they’re different people with different destinies and different challenges, but I think it’s useful in this case.

In the same situation I have no doubt that W would have shut it down. He would have felt comfortable and confident doing so, he would have led the banter, not followed it.

I think in this situation, like so many, Harry was way out of his depth. I do have some sympathy for him in that sense, because it must be horrible to spend your life barely keeping up but being in a place where all eyes are on you, because you married someone whose very oxygen is fame.

Always makes me laugh chimpo.... Japanese slang for dick
😂😂😂 James Haskell is more famous than Elton John, didn't h also brag having Obama's number! Obviously sucking up to marler as Haskell was team mate and friend.

I won't listen to the podcast but I hope they were taking the piss and not being sycophants. Most rugby players would not be impressed by whiney wimps trying to act like one of the lads.

@TheHatTrick thanks for listening for all our benefit!

It strikes me just how often Harry makes inappropriate or sexualised comments, very often about men. Combined with nipple tweaking and bum slapping, and dry humping people morning TV presenters.

even CG had that anecdote about him rearranging all the ornamental animals into sex positions.

It’s not normal behaviour.

Pill pushing
Bum bothering
Nipple squeezing
Dry humping
Beast pimping
Vulgar talking
Face slapping
Knob fondling
Word mangling
Pater hating
…. Hapsi

I was wondering about that. Would also love an explanation as to what a Chief Impact Officer does? Probably as little as a full time Dad with 2 Nannies

Some say H got paid by BetterUp to tell Invictus it had to partner with BetterUp, which was lucrative for BetterUp. And then he told other people to give money to Invictus so it had the money to keep paying BetterUp.

Kerching! to the tune of an alleged £1m a year for H.

He bullied the matron at Lugrove by his own admission who had a disability. Oh and IIRC correctly "didn't make him horny" . He wrote this in Spare. If I have this wrong someone tell me.

You remember correctly, BasiliskStare, and as with your comment about this latest interview that was another "ill thought out mess"

A shame, really, that this is all he's capable of

That's very generous of you, Ohpleeeease, but it also ignores the many other occasions when Harry's been downright crude even being able to control the situation

I've commented on this before, but he really does seem to have an obsession with the scatalogical, and it's no wonder so many with an image to think of have backed off

Starryfifty · 14/07/2026 11:19

DJPJ · 14/07/2026 10:02

I agree. But he has painted himself into a corner now was that was his one and only opportunity to ‘emotionally blackmail’ KC3 but think as mince PH doesn’t realise.

It suited KC3 to see A&L on a personal level and also on a broader PR level for his own PR. He has ticked that box - so no flies on him for refusing to see his GC.

But if PH tries that shit again and attempts to follow thru it’s his own DC who will be hurt not KC3. Is he that short-sighted and that malicious that his own DC emotional hurt is deemed acceptable collateral damage in his efforts to get what he wants.

H famously doesn't learn so he'll kick off over security again next year but we don't know what way the land will lie then., we have Dr Sophie's case and lord knows what that's going to reveal. Having said that, H seems to get away with an awful lot

Oh I wonder if the reddish one is back in town - I recall them boasting that they had two computer screens running simultaneously to check back on RF thread posts and to be able to pull and repost their saved evidence (mostly print media montages). Seemed to have disappeared when they shat their pants in public by leading the ‘Where’s Kate’ campaign on here.

Backed herself into another corner also, by agreeing that HAM would undoubtedly have something to say about the execrable Andrew situation now they were ‘safe’ in America. (Spoiler: crickets all round.)

Talking about the World Cup, he said: “I think it’s coming home.”

Has no-one told Harry that the US got knocked out?

Hugs them tight when HE has had a bad day. Seeking comfort from them as opposed to the other way around

Yes, I once had a boyfriend like this years ago; he had two young kids and he basically used them as his emotional comfort blanket. He had no friends and needed his kids to show him physical affection whenever he wanted it. I ended it when I found out he'd been followed round a supermarket by a security guard suspicious of his behaviour with his daughter!

TheHatTrick · 14/07/2026 02:35

Trigger warning: weirdness and I’m only 9 minutes in:

I must stop to say that Harry, in a rather sensual moment, describes Joe Marlers fingers as being “like Cumberland sausages.”

Whats his obsession with sausages?

Fetish?

TheHatTrick · 14/07/2026 11:59

I think he was joking about his hair. His occupation seemed more like he was caught off guard and trying to come up with something, but also joking.

I didn’t think Marler and Jake were making fun of him but just treating him like one of the lads. And he was trying to act like he was one of them. But it was embarrassing and he should have more respect for himself.

What shocked me was all of the moments where he came across as being attracted to men and I’m not saying that to denigrate.

There have been, both on other social media platforms and on here, plenty of comments criticising Meghan for attending previous Invictus events, with recurring remarks such as "Why is she there?"

There was even an entire thread on here that you can find titled 'Invictus 2025' devoted to the question of why she was on stage. Within the first few pages alone, posters questioned what Meghan's official role at Invictus was, argued that the focus should be on the competitors and veterans rather than Harry and Meghan, and debated whether her attendance was appropriate given that Harry founded Invictus while she holds no formal patronage role. Comments included:

"Invictus is nothing to do with her!"
"Why is Meghan on the stage? Maybe she is hoping it will increase the value of her 'divorce book'.""I
think the point is that she doesn’t need to be there!", "Just why is she there. It's embarrassing. It's making it about her and 'H', not the veterans."
"Certainly the Meghan show at the moment. She appears dominant in everything."
"This inability to refrain from inserting herself into the middle of everything is really, really peculiar behaviour. She would have been better off staying at home."

One poster even observed at the time, "Because if she wasn’t, there would be ten more nasty threads like this speculating that their marriage was in difficulty."

That comment now seems remarkably apt. Meghan has not attended the recent Invictus event, yet the criticism has simply shifted from questioning why she was there to questioning why she isn't, with claims that she is not supporting Harry. It rather demonstrates that, for some people, whichever choice she makes is likely to attract criticism.

She could be supportive without turning it into the Meghan show. I think it's not so much whether she goes or not - it's more that she seems unable to attend events in support of her husband and play a secondary role to Harry. She always has to be the centre of attention - front and centre of the photos - like the cringy Sentebale polo match where she refused to let Sophie C present the trophy or even stand next to Harry, gripping onto him like a vice. Or that hilarious polo match in Santa Barbara where she refused to let go of the trophy and pushed her way through the middle of the team for the photo. There are many more examples - "leading the troops" by marching in hot pants, grabbing microphones, making sure she gets on the stage/into photos by hanging on to "her man" like a teenager .... etc etc 🙄

Compare to Sunday at Wimbledon. Did we see William pushing his way into the prize giving? Did he demand to stand in the centre of the photos clutching onto Kate? No he didn't because he knew it was her patronage and her day and was happy to just be supportive.

What the hell is he on about here?
He just isn’t funny and desperately w ata to be seen as just one of the lads. Hes an embarrassment.

Responding to an anecdote about the 36-year-old Marler’s bowel control, the Duke said: “Normally once you’re 40 or older, never trust a fart. But you’re young and you, on the M25, sh-t your pants via a fart? That’s hilarious.”
