love the idea that KC owns rights to any photos taken.
that’s a nice thing to hold over them.
He can release full facials of his DGC whenever he sees fit (not that I believe he ever would)!

I hope he has the photo placed prominently on his desk when he does his Christmas speech. 😂

Strawberriesandcaviar · 11/07/2026 12:00

Such interesting posts on this thread!

I agree that the statement from the palace was short, factual and without affection and the ‘no photos will be released’ line was a warning to HAM.

I hope they fuck off back to Monteshitshow now and stop bothering sick kids, shit tv presenters and KC.

In the words of Malcolm Tucker, “fuckity bye”

Yes, although it looks very classy.

It's beautiful, as it should be after a £7m refurb.

In which case she may well have been announced, as typically the lower ranked person is announced to the higher, which she clearly didn't understand in the Harper's Bazaar interview.

Oh that goes without saying! , however I was joking about Meghans use of her titles to impress and lord it over the commoners! , it certainly won’t work on the king and queen! 😁

bluegreygreen · 11/07/2026 12:25

Sorry @jeffgoldblum - just me taking things literally again 🤦🏻‍♀️

I'd be very surprised if they're staying in Ellen De Generes' home.

Just as rich people aren't in the business of handing out money to people they barely know, nor do they make a habit of making their homes into hotels for mere acquaintances. Especially as these days, H&M offer only a massive headache with very little in return.

It was speculation, not assertion. It wouldn't be the first time they took housing/transport/security favours from rich people they barely know (eg Tyler Perry).

Morelovelyandtemperate · 11/07/2026 12:28

Surely they stay at Soho House? But all this tittle tattle is just "evidence" for them that they are at risk so I'll stop.
ETA i mean the one in the Cotswolds, the "farm"

JSMill · 11/07/2026 12:34

It was very telling that BP announced no photos would be released. They have sussed M out.

Edited

That was a long time ago though.

Back then celebrities might have felt they had something to gain from pursuing a relationship with H&M. Now, they're nothing but trouble. I can't imagine anyone who values their privacy opening up their home to these two. What's in it for them?

I assumed they would stay with one of the Yorks.

I'd be surprised. I don't think they've had any sort of a relationship with Beatrice since Mexit, and we've not heard much of their supposed 'friendship' with Eugenie for some time. Besides, isn't she due to give birth any day? Not really an appropriate time for house guests, let alone this pair!

My guess is they're staying in some luxury hotel, at Invictus' expense. Or possibly at Althorp.

Mylovelygreendress · 11/07/2026 12:49

I can see Charles Spencer allowing a private visit to Diana’s grave but not having them to stay . He won’t want to get on the wrong side of William.

Lots of (even rich) celebrities live for drama and column inches. Their "privacy" is selective and malleable, and quite often dictated by their publicists, agents and career agendas, as it is for the Sussexes.

Shame KC hasn't learned from those who have apparently seen the light that they are nothing but trouble.

Batcats · 11/07/2026 13:01

I thought it was Althorp they were staying though I obviously am just going by what's widely reported!

Isn't this the one they've been trying to sell due to flooding ?

bluegreygreen · 11/07/2026 13:07

The King meeting the Sussexes has moved out of the headlines fairly rapidly.

On the Sky News page it only appears in yesterday's UK news.

On the BBC News page it isn't even mentioned in the headlines - the only mention of Harry is the 'Chaos and confusion reign as Harry loses media battle' story, and the story is primarily about the court case, and how it and the drama about whether or not Meghan would appear have overshadowed Invictus.

There are only two sentences about the visit with the King, and not written in particularly glowing terms about the Sussexes:

There was a private family reunion between the King and Queen and Prince Harry, Meghan and their children, Archie and Lilibet, on Friday.

But there were no pictures from this secretive get-together and the private moment at Highgrove hasn't really shifted the narrative on what proved a difficult week for the visitors from California.

The reality is that noone has a clue and we're all just guessing. Which just goes to prove that the Sussexes could easily come and go without anyone being any the wiser. Which is what many of us have been saying all along. If this visit has done one thing, it's shown that their overblown 'security fears' are a farce, as is the claim that they will be 'briefed against'. The only ones 'briefing' are them.

Absolutely. The security fears, the paps, the lack of privacy - all a load of nonsense.
