H is a 41 year old man. He has made his bed. Let him lie in it and suffer the consequences up to and including bankruptcy.

IMHO, H has to have that moment of enlightenment that comes from suffering...like the prodigal son for him to change his behaviour. H needs to have his "eating pig-swill" moment to grasp what an utter fool he has been.

Sophiecunninghamsfinger · 07/07/2026 15:33

Basically the judge said Harry was a liar.

Well this is certainly a hat trick of losses for poor ol' Hazbeen: he's lost his demands regarding sekuridee, his father has lost patience with him regarding his accommodation, and finally he's 💯 lost his action against ANL! Is it wrong to be happy about this?!

Sophiecunninghamsfinger · 07/07/2026 15:35

I agree as working members of the RF but from a family perspective KC is worth £££ and can provide for his son and GC. It’s one thing taking the never complain never explain approach with the media etc but bottom line is if it didn’t impoverish you (which it won’t) you can be magnanimous when proved right.

Look how well that turned out for QE2 and AMW. Never a good look to be seen to indulging, enabling and rewarding bad behaviours.

Whoa, dismissed in full!! He's fucked it, for him and all the other defendants.

In fairness the other claimants are responsible for themselves, Passingthrough, and that includes Doreen Lawrence

If they were stupid enough to think hanging onto Harry - a proven liar - would help then that's on them

No I meant W&C should make their London base at Buckingham Palace. Leaving KP for the also rans.

Trouble is, no one really wants to live there, it's draughty and not homely at all. I'm pretty certain the long term goals are to refurbish BP so more and more can be opened up to the public and it can provide a year-round revenue stream. I'd have suggested St James' Palace, still houses plenty of royals and grace and favour apartments. W & H lived there as teens and in their early 20's and it's low key but still a royal palace, and in London. KP is just a touch too controversial, and too close to W&K's London base. But god, who actually wants them in the UK full time? I think they'd cause trouble wherever they were. Poverty and the threat of money being withdrawn wouldn't be enough to stop them. They are self-destructive in the worst way, and will drag those poor kids along in whatever money scraping schemes they come up with.

Edited

I don’t see how providing a modest home on the CE, not high profile like BP, KP etc, is rewarding them if there are also conditions like no PR spin, no Working Royal type events.

In PHs case it’s about learning from the AMW & family grifting from unscrupulous people and trying to prevent him going down the same route.

Kirschcherries · 07/07/2026 15:45

I think W & C may move into Clarence House as their London base once they are King & Queen. Camilla will probably retire to Ray Mill House.

It’s not just Harry who has lost , it’s Elton John, Liz Hurley and others. Maybe Elton can help Harry out with a loan.

Sir Elton won't bail Harry or the others out, he will be LIVID that they lost and how it makes him look. Toys will be well and truly out of the pram this afternoon. But this X post sums up why I feel sorry for Baroness Lawrence. I know people say she knew what she was getting into, but I do think Harry exploited her grief and her anger at how her son's case was treated initially by the police and the press.

I don’t think that Meghan would ever want to leave the States though. She and the children were dangled like a carrot for this Invictus visit, but I personally don’t believe that she ever had any intention of coming. I will be astonished if she turns up In Birmingham, although this is more of a possibility as she has the opportunity to
deliver some word salad and get changed in to twenty or so unsuitable outfits. But live here day to day? I don’t think so

And what about the bloody security? Meghan won’t live here, if they divorce then the children will come for holidays and Harry will carry on with his miserable, whinging and petulant life.

Passingthrough123 · 07/07/2026 15:55

I think any discussion about him going bankrupt is premature – apparently the judge capped the costs at £4.5m. The losers won't have a problem finding that amount between themselves.

If they hit rock bottom and bankruptcy is looming it maybe the least worse option for her.

He looks shell shocked and like he's about to burst into tears. But I'll give some credit to him for getting on with it.

Where did you hear that?

I thought there hadn't been a hearing about costs yet.

Also, that will only be the amount they have to pay ANL. The claimants will also be on the hook for their own legal costs, and Sherborne's hair gel does not come cheap.

It's starting to circulate on X. Final costs haven't been agreed – there's a hearing on July 29 – but they won't be higher than the amount the judge capped it at, which is £4.5m.

Ah, that's a good point. That might be just what they'll have to pay ANL.

I was about to go on a rant that Harry needs to repay the taxpayer for the costs of his failed JR but saw this and paused - Harry does not look well.

Probably the drugs along with everything else, but while I wouldn't actively wish ill health on anyone I've no sympathy at all

Sorry, but nobody gets to treat others the way Harry has and then expect "Awwww" when things don't go their way
