I saw a video which showed 2 coppers arriving and being directed how to control the non existent crowd . As H was being ushered out surrounded by security ( why?) he waved to the mainly media people giving g the thumbs up to Ship .

The Harry that Cressida married seems to be a great guy. His younger brother died from suicide and the family set up a charity to help men with mental illness. Recently Harry did a really gruelling challenge to raise funds for it. It's called James Place.

Cressida herself seems to be a lovely person, she has a podcast with her sister about motherhood/ family relationships. Her sister died recently and she talks a lot about grief and coping with loss.

I'd imagine that both of them have a very strong emotional IQ, her relationship with the other Harry must have been challenging in comparison.

It’s absolute bollocks, I expect. The revelations from Charlotte Griffiths indicate that Chelsy and Cressida always wanted out, were maybe never fully ‘in’, Harry was trying to string them along with a ‘let’s be good friends’ routine while trying for more, and eventually they managed to escape - and it was easier for them to just let him say whatever he needed to in order to save face.

Meghan came along and was prepared to marry him (and I mean, ‘prepared’) and so he snapped her up feeling lucky, vindicated, relieved, validated and, knowing him, probably avenged.

What was it he said of marrying M? ‘Look at me, look what I got, look what I found’.

Chelsy and Cressida are both educated, intelligent, attractive women who come from wealthy, well connected families. Serious money in Chelsy's case, and aristocratic lineage in Cressida's. It might have been a lark to date a prince for a while but I doubt either were in it for the long haul. Why marry an emotionally and intellectually stunted man child and put up with all the attendant intrusion and restrictions? Neither needed the money nor the connections. They had plenty of both from their own backgrounds. And mixing in the upper class circles they did, they would have known exactly what was expected of them as a royal wife, and wanted no part of it.

Now both have married and started families with posh, handsome, educated men with their own money. Massive upgrade for both women.

There's no knowing, @MouldyCandy, but it'll be a sad time for the family, William will be "it" by then, and given their behaviour around the Queen's funeral can you really see the RF making either of them particularly welcome?

Many take the view that William will cut them out completely, and rather than face that it may be better to stay at home, whining that they weren't even "allowed" to attend a thing like this

Indeed! Although pictures of him looking miserable, rough and dishevelled aren't hard to come by.
