Yes I was thinking back to UK tail between their legs. An apartment at Kensington palace. William and Catherine don’t need theirs anymore, once Buckingham Palace refurbishment is finished they should have an apartment there for the odd time they want to stay in London overnight, store official clothes, be close to Charles at Clarence House and all the offices plus the swimming pool and gardens. It’s not like they’d live there but it would make more sense to have their London base there. That would clear the way for Harry and family to be safely out of their way at KP. Absolutely no royal assignments, no balcony appearances and no more selling stories. Just live quietly, school the children and behave themselves.

Unfortunately the rest of the family would still have to hold their noses and put up with their presence at certain times like Christmas I stand it will be a very very long time before anyone wants to discuss anything more sensitive than the weather with them.

It really couldn’t happen to two nicer people.
Harry and Hugh Grant who is are dreadful men who want to gag the press so rich people can behave without integrity without any backlash.

I expect The King and Prince of Wales feel utterly vindicated in grey rocking HAM.
Any money should come with massive caveats and should be conditional on giving up all titles. They are a huge embarrassment to the UK .

As the saying goes "you cannot do business with these people " . HAM just do not learn. Do not listen. Time and time again. KC would be absolutely crazy to offer them anything in the UK, including educating the children. They are vipers. They will be quiet for a time then erupt again . Absolute embarrassment

I don’t want them back and I doubt any of the Royal family do either.

It’s just the cheapest option I can see for keeping them quiet and staving off bankruptcy without being on the hook for regular massive top ups every five years or so.

I think they’d be hard to negotiate with tbh. Meghan doesn’t give a shit, she’s probably already looking for another guy. But the title means everything to her.

Harry must be so relieved that Farage has knocked him off the rolling news.

I think W&C have sufficient strength, standing, confidence and moral high ground now to tell anyone who requires them to socialise with HAM to get lost.

I was about to go on a rant that Harry needs to repay the taxpayer for the costs of his failed JR but saw this and paused - Harry does not look well.

Absolutely no way they'd been granted BP. They'd like the kudos of being the only Royals living at HQ, the same prestige they were hoping for when asking for Windsor Castle previously. It'd need to be Balmoral, the Kings private land and not a burden to tax payers.

I agree as working members of the RF but from a family perspective KC is worth £££ and can provide for his son and GC. It’s one thing taking the never complain never explain approach with the media etc but bottom line is if it didn’t impoverish you (which it won’t) you can be magnanimous when proved right.

But UK residents might say 'how does that benefit us?' and they'd have a point. It doesn't, for me, negate that point to say that lots of royals have been personally funded to excess in the past. They may have been. Doesn't justify another new round of it, for folk living in the USA, just when the country's having a cost of living crisis.
