I see no reason for the Sussex family not to visit privately if they so desire.

There appears to be an element of business about the visit, so whoever is benefiting from having Harry in the UK should be stumping up the security for him.

However this visit has again been played out in the media as to who is offering what, and its just rinse and repeat of another drama involving the Sussex family.

(Personally I don't think Mrs Sussex was ever intending to visit the in-laws nor bring the children across).

While I respect the decision to attempt to keep the children out of the public eye, I can see nothing wrong with releasing a nice ''official'' photo once a year (without Mrs Sussex having to be in it) of the children to whet the public's appetite in seeing how the children are growing up.

Otherwise the circus to get the first full photo will always be there... catch 22.

I can imagine her being filmed in the Palace kitchen gardens picking the strawberries and fruit , wafting around tastefully dressed in flowing white robes, wearing flowers in her hair… and calculating how much $$$ she’ll flog the jam for.

She could have been filmed offering the guards at the palace scones with jam.

There's a new story running this morning. Meghan is 'done' with the Royal family after this latest rejection of Harry. She warned him there would be drama. She is thinking that she doesn't ever want go see the Royal family again.

He’s 41 and his staying involved lots of staff. Boring to suggest it’s just him turning up to stay in a spare room and that’s it.

So he released his itinerary and the crowds failed to appear. Does he get it yet.

Does anyone else think it’s a bit sick that they are apparently taking their little children to the grave of their dead grandmother? I know it’s allegedly being done for Netflix (which is frankly disgusting if true) but even if not, to take little ones to a grave when they have never met or barely met their living grandfathers is really questionable to say the least, particularly when the children are so young, I mean how do you explain to little children here’s your dead grandmother buried underground, it could be quite frightening for them at their age and what will the children think when they are adults? You took us to grandma’s grave but we never met our grandfathers one who is an actual King?

I agree. At the very least it is horribly mawkish. Think of all the great fun places you could take little kids to on their first visit to the UK that they would really enjoy. The Diana fixation is seriously weird. Those kids are being warped by their weird parents.

For goodness sake! From the footage I saw, there was a line, one deep, of people opposite the entrance to Chatham House. How much more tax-payers' money does this Prince of the Realm want to spend? Great typo BTW - Crown control 😄
