Nobody seems to know for sure. Why should we care. Maybe he doesn't even know himself yet. He can't seem to do anything without attracting lots of press articles.

The sensible way to do this would be for Harry to talk about her as part of normal conversation, like the Wales' do and most parents do for relatives sho have died, including me.

Yes, the media outnumbered 'fans' by about 3 to 1 I'd say.

And probably most of the 'fans' were people who just happened to be nearby, and thought they'd take a gander out of curiosity.

So even publishing his 'itinerary' in advance didn't generate big crowds. I reckon he'll be fine without armed security.

Somewhat bizarrely, people who say they are republican on here, actually support Harry. I can never understand that. So illogical.

You think the metropolitan Police and the whole domestic staff team at BP should have put in place every aspect of security, protection and housekeeping for PH and his entourage without confirmation they were coming? On the off chance he said yes with no more than a few hours notice? You think his entourage should have been housed without the required security checks?

Might not have been there for personal protection of Harry but for crowd control (snigger)?

There was only two of them,they were called by Harry or his security to attend, neither looked thrilled and the woman looked totally pissed off!

They're clearly not RPOs. RPOs don't wear uniform and are very discreet. So just there for 'crowd control' (as if!)

Actually, I disagree. It isn't sick. My dad suddenly died before my niece was born (she is now 3 and never met him) and I have two nephews who were 5 and 7, and when my sister looked into the best way to handle it, the advice was to be open and honest in an age-appropriate way regardless of whether they met him or not.

We still talk about him, and every year we mark the anniversary of his death as a family. My nephews and niece understand and it hasn't frightened them.

From everything I've read, remembering loved ones whether that's visiting a grave or marking anniversaries in other ways is generally seen as a healthy way to help children understand death and keep family memories alive, rather than pretending the person never existed. And I don't think children are likely to grow up thinking, "Why didn't we do the same for everyone else?"

Every family is different, and children can understand that different relatives are remembered or visited in different ways for different reasons.

I don’t think 20/30 years we will have a monarchy… they will either have had enough or there isn’t the appetite any longer. So the republicans should be happy about that!

So Harry’s security couldn’t cope with some media photographers and a few passers by and so had to call for police reinforcements? 🙄

BTW, I was watching Good Morning America earlier this week and they did a segment about the photos that Catherine released with the Wales and Middletons after the 3 Peak Challenge. The photos looked great, they put up James Middleton' s tweet, and the whole segment was very positive.

Well another poster has disagreed with you too. So in this case, though, I'm clearly not the only one who sees it differently. My view is based on the advice that's commonly given to parents about talking to children about death, not just on having a different opinion.
