No, they clearly don't. Bizarrely, they seem to have an ambition for their children to be working royals, and for Archie to take over Invictus.
They are so desperate to remain royal.

When their kids are of age, William will be king. How the hell could they be working royals under him ???

I think logic isn't a strength of the Sussexes.
It seems to be all about the entitlement and privilege.

It’s completely fascinating on a psychological level. And that’s why there are so many threads. You want to look away, but you are sucked in every single time.

If they had really wanted a quiet life, away from it all, they could so easily have had it.

Or if they had wanted the billionaire lifestyle, they probably could have achieved it, if they’d put the groundwork in first, did the Oprah and Spare book differently, more reflectively, not badmouthed, keen to keep family onside, turn up to a few family events.

Its not bloody hard to see where it went wrong.

Most of us could see it, why the hell couldn’t their expensive PR team see it???

Good points, it's baffling. Their PR is really terrible. Do they actually take advice?

I think the obvious answer to that question is a resounding…NO 🤣

I have tried repeatedly signing Harry/invinctus petition and I don't get the confirmation email to click on 🤷 my husband also tried. Anyone else had a problem? How many signatures not getting through.

I think a lot aren't getting through as it's only on 700 more than when I signed past night, which I don't think is realistic considering the depth of feeling and the communities they have enraged.

noonames · Today 12:36

I expect we’ll hear soon that Liam has moved on to pursue other projects, and they have dispensed with Sunshine Sachs who were holding them back 🤪

AnAutumnCrow · Today 12:38

Makes me wonder if he’s either having a breakdown or he’s had one (possibly more) and is not recovering well. I wouldn’t want him to have unfettered proximity to firearms or the controls of a helicopter, put it that way.

He’s been steeped in drugs, booze, avarice and venality for too long without any real ethical structure or accountability in his life. He’s got a nasty temper and he’s fragmenting. I wouldn’t let him within a mile of any project I was in charge of, due to the risk.

The man’s a complete bloody liability to all around him.

Mylovelygreendress · Today 12:39

Well X has blown up ! Apart from Chris Ship , I haven’t seen any supportive comments !
Interestingly , according to Tom Sykes and a few others , the Sussexes are not in Europe, they are in Montecito .
I did think it surprising that they hadn’t leaked anything about a holiday !

I think it's blindingly obvious that no, they don't take advice. And if someone gives them advice they don't like or don't want to hear they bully them then they fire them.

They've hired plenty of shrewd, experienced people and then ignored them, what was the point of that? It's such extreme hubris - quite extraordinary and fascinating to watch (hence we're on thread twelfty three or whatever it is).

I think they are also forgetting that their young compliant children will grow up - we're only 6 years from Archie being a teenager - and they're going to question what they've been told.

Later, surely they're highly likely to say "hang on, explain it to us again? Why aren't we in touch with any of our family? What do you mean, our grandfather was the King of England and we weren't allowed to meet him? And now your brother is the King and won't speak to you? What about our other grandfather? What did he do that was so terrible?"

And they will, at some point, go online see the facts for themselves, read Spare, see the OW interview and, I would imagine, be horrified.

Karma will bite them on the ass (American pronunciation fits well here I think!) and their kids will quite possibly be furious at their toxic upbringing and the opportunities and riches they've been denied.

And you never know, they may decide to stop all contact with their parents, because they've been shown that's what you do and that's what their role models did and there you go, what goes around comes around.

I agree. He needed to stay in the UK, get a proper job, and engage with proper counselling. He needed the RF structure around him.
He's spiralling, I think.

Sorry, only on SEVENTY more than I signed last night. Something is whiffy in the state of Denmark.

Thanks for the new thread, @Mylovelygreendress

I was really posting ready for if anything new happens, but wanted to pick up on MyAutumnCrow's comment on the last one that "I’m detecting a lot more direct criticism of Harry now, rather than the blame being directed M’s way", and add that it's about time

There's enough to blame Meghan for, but especially with things like Invictus which existed before she hove into view, Harry didn't have to accept her ridiculous attempts to claw the limelight for herself

I don't imagine she'd like it - she may even sink to the floor once again with a doe-eyed tearful display - but he's got a tongue in his head and could presumably tell her no, and if he doesn't thhen to my mind that's on him

Just remembering the recent photo of Lady Louise sitting calmly on the floor of a crowded train.

Lady Lou is an interesting one. The DM always try to stir because she doesn't meet their beauty ideal and all the comments are basically telling the DM to sod off and pick on someone their own size. I think public feeling towards Prince Edward's family is generally benevolent since he really got the royal short straw arriving fourth in the proceedings but potters on, genuinely showing up and doing good.

I agree about Liam, noonames, but thought they already had ditched Sunshine Sachs for "holding them back" ... or was that someone else?

They seem to get through so many associates that sometimes it's hard to keep track ...

Meghan gets what Meghan wants or nobody gets anything. Indeed

One of PH most interesting comments about his wife - alarmingly he thought it was a compliment rather than a character flaw - and that she had engineered the whole set up of ‘damsel in distress’ and foolish PH fell for it and charged in as the ‘white knight’ to save her and boost his fragile ego ….. she’s done this time and time again and PH ‘the useful idiot’ still doesn’t see he’s being manipulated.

I've always felt there should be more criticism of Harry than Meghan. She is playing a very standard celebrity game, which isn't working because she's trying to attach a royal title to it, and is very bad at playing the game.

Harry on the other hand is whiny, arrogant and entitled whilst bringing very little to the table. He seems to think his very existence deserves praise and finance. The MIGS did an excellent PR job on him.

I suspect that he’s under immense pressure at this moment due to Sentebale court case looming, ANL judgement imminent, personal finances
under pressure, RF not biting on his push for royal adjacency - the ‘security issue’ is just his manufactured situation to point and attempt to punish and to discharge his narcissistic rage about the long list of other shit he’s shouldering which he doesn’t have the emotional capacity, maturity or resilience to juggle.

Yes, he's doing his usual thing and taking out his stress on the RF because they won't bite back. Or at least very rarely. All the therapy and tapping remedies have done a super job, clearly.

RIP Penelope, regal to the last and always more so than some other people we know!

❤️to Penelope Keith. We won’t see her like again.

ShamedBySiri · Today 13:20

Looks like those longing for a result on the ANL case may soon get their wish fulfilled. Surely Tom Sykes won’t want to risk being made a fool of again so soon?
