If the visit does actually happen, I don't believe they will be permitted to take their own photos which they will monetise endlessly. If photos are taken, they will be owned by the monarchy for historical records only.

Harry seems unable to get his head around that he is now on the same level as his non-working-royal cousins ... Peter, Zara, Beatrice, Eugenie, Louise and James. He is demanding greater privileges than the late Queen's children had as working royals.

It would be possible to fly under the radar to Balmoral - I mean we never know anything about which weeks the Wales family visit. In fact the entire royal family seems able to move around the UK quietly without all of this drama.

They could stay at BP and use one of the multiple exits in a blacked out SUV. BP would also be wonderful for the kids with the huge garden, woodland walks and the swimming pool heated to 32C.

But this is the problem - they don't want to travel safely incognito... they want to be seen to reinforce their importance and VIP status, they want to be photographed, they want the streets cleared, the blue lights, they want the huge motorcade - basically they love the drama

After a weekend that managed to combine farce, manipulation, and the kind of briefing to the newspapers that Harry said in Spare he so despised, Prince Harry issued a fresh statement Monday saying that he was still coming to the UK with his wife and kids next week!

Harry's fresh statement said that he “continues to explore every available option to enable the visit to proceed safely and to give his children the opportunity to enjoy the UK” and that NOTHING had changed in terms of the operational note issued last week which specified what they were doing each and every day of the week after next.

Or maybe he just had an emotional outburst in response to some bad news about his security coverage, which he has been told many, many times in many, many venues he is not getting, which would reveal a great deal about the psychology of the fragile man at the centre of this chaos.

It has always been about status, not security.

I can see that KC3 has said no photos and no public statements that we are meeting privately - but H&M probs planned to circumvent this with a big cavalcade with blue lights and outriders being filmed by NF in a helicopter all the way to Scotland and this being live streamed with commentary online …. the enhanced armed security is just a stage prop and a way to tell the world A&L are with KC3 without breaking KC3’s confidentiality requirements.
