The Guardian's story about his request for full armed police protection being denied includes these paras:

a) The Government was never going to allow taxpayers' money to be spent on them visiting friends, so it was daft to ask.
2) Photographers in the UK are not allowed to harass, intimidate, threaten or stalk people to get their photos and can by law be prosecuted for doing so, so his claim they'll be chased is nonsense.
3) Buck Palace has a long-standing arrangement with the press that they won't take or use unsolicited pap pictures of the Royals and I can't see why it won't still apply to the Sussexes.

I think Harry is just too delusional. I believe he automatically assumes William will welcome him back

Re the arrangement for non pap shots, he could have avoided all of it by engaging with the Royal rota, but he slated them quite openly as well.

And positioning the kids as liable to be pap-chased, we all know what game that’s playing. Sickening.
