So, ‘on holiday in Europe’ … Eugenie & Jack and a villa in Portugal??

Elton John's house devising response to ANL verdict ? 😂

I wonder if Markus was due to be of the party

wow, hilarious.

I’m so so glad that RAVEC have told them to FO and not pandered to the blatant attempts at manipulation.

Also really glad to see it actually confirmed that they’ve been told they won’t get police protection. Of course Harry being the idiot he is wouldn’t announce any of this if he was actually worried about his security (nor would he release a full itinerary), but I am overjoyed that their desperate attempts haven’t been successful.

also so funny they’re trying to make this about the kids, when they would only have been in a royal residence, which is always fully protected. They’re both absolute fools.

I think the nub of H&M's grouse is that the kids would be ferried from airport to royal residence (and vice versa on the way home) without security.

Fromhere1 · 27/06/2026 23:06

If Harry was genuinely concerned about safety he would say nothing at all about the trip....it's all such BS

I must confess that I am just a bit disappointed! I was looking forward to seeing Jeff eat that Cheese hat! Ah well. On the other hand, every cloud has a silver lining.

🤣 nom nom!

Because Meghan might not want to risk him never bringing them back?

Surprised at the bit about Ravec's review being on hold though. I'd have thought they'd have done it by now anyway, but if this is true, and if suggestions it's been done to keep Harry away are right, that would imply some interference from the family, and I though it was insisted that they can't do that?

I doubt it @Puzzledandpissedoff! If it hasn’t been completed it’s more likely a casualty of this balls up we call our government! …another pm!! 😬

I think the nub of H&M's grouse is that the kids would be ferried from airport to royal residence (and vice versa on the way home) without security.

And yet, if they hadn’t announced anything, nobody would even have an inkling that they were coming. Indeed even now, nobody knows what date they’re supposedly arriving on or which specific flight.

very easy to keep the risk low if safety was actually their concern.

bluegreygreen · 28/06/2026 00:02

Remember that we know he has an up-to-date assessment of risk every time he comes (as long as he gives notice) @Puzzledandpissedoff, and also that the only evidence we have that the RAVEC review is on hold is 'a source close to the Sussexes'.

I suspect the issue this time is that he has made a specific request for police protection (rather than accepting the RAVEC assessment of the risk) which has been turned down, which is why they are upset and now saying the family is not coming.
That's how I read this part of the DM report anyway
Details of the trip were announced last night.
However, it is understood the Duke was informed that his application for a security package for the visit had been denied shortly afterwards.

Harry is their father. Why can't he bring them over without Meg?

He collapses without her hand up his arse.

He isn't a working royal, so why should he get protection to go on vanity jaunts.

If he and M do separate things that could be three teams of protection officers, it is unlikely to be possible.

Recklessismymiddlename · 28/06/2026 05:47

It does explain the plethora of very odd threads, that have appeared on these boards the last few days…

Time for the Sussexes to be cut loose. When William is king, I think all apart from heir & working royals, including his own dc, should have titles removed. If Charlotte and Louis want to for the crown they keep the title. If not title goes.

Deals with Yorks and Sussexes in one fell swoop. Not sure that will happen though. But brings it into the 21st century.

LondonRidge · 28/06/2026 05:47

Lolllllll! What a pair of dickheads 😂

The continuous leaks are just hilarious, every day! What on earth do they think they will achieve, I honestly don’t understand. It just proves that they still can’t be trusted and haven’t learned anything from what’s happened.

This bit made me laugh particularly hard… he’s so desperate to be seen as the “big guy” (and we must not forget the military bit… which is all party of the brand), that he actually has to tell people he’s big!

”Harry is a big guy, a former soldier and generally pretty robust when it comes to handling these incidents. It’s what impact such moments would have on the kids that everyone is most concerned about.”

Pity the KIDS! They’re always the excuse. The whole thing reeks of faux drama. As long as the leaks keep coming no one will want to see them and rightly so. They continue to
prove time and time that they can’t be trusted and it’s all a PR exercise to them.

if they truly cared about family and cared about securidee stop announcing your visits to the world, they’d come over quietly and get on with it then go back to where they came from.

Imagine what they’re telling those poor kids, and the delusions and fear they’re going to grow up with. It must be like some kind of grim, twisted fairytale where their mum is the beautiful princess and damsel in distress, their dad the handsome, string, brave and misunderstood prince with his tragic mother in the background like some kind of poisoned sleeping beauty…all cruelly forced out of their family by their evil uncle and the evil king and queen who live in castles in a land filled with danger where everyone wants to kill them. I think Harry actually believes this too, as does M. Those kids will be messed up forever.

I don't think the family have been interfering, neither do I think the review is on hold to prevent Harry visiting the UK. That's what Harry probably wants to believe, as evidenced by all the "sources" in these articles. I suppose it's easier for him to believe he is the victim of "an establishment stich up" than the truth, he simply isn't a priority. He alreasy has a bespoke arrangement why waste any more time and money just so you can say you've reviewed it?

Leaving aside the fact that anyone who truly has security concerns doesn't announce in advance where he and his family are going to be.

And these, Meghan, these are ‘archetypes’. Not the things you thought were.

Christ. What a fuss they make. But how lucky for us that they don't have the class and discretion to do anything privately. Think of the hours of entertainment we would be deprived of if they conducted themselves with anything like the decorum and sense of William and Catherine.

Elton John's house devising response to ANL verdict ? 😂

One thing I know - the ANL case has a lot more Sussex PR disasters left in it.

Remember back in February? Victoria Ward reported this in the Telegraph:

‘Max Mosley provided tens of thousands of pounds to pay future witnesses ahead of Prince Harry’s privacy claim and wanted to “beef up the propaganda” against the publisher of the Daily Mail, the High Court has heard…’

I was never sure that who Max Mosley was, and where his money originated, fully sank in with the reading public.

But today, here’s a further story, in the Mail itself. (TW: it references the holocaust.)

‘That Max Mosley, via a secretive Liechtenstein Trust, inherited his father Oswald's fortune, he freely admitted.

‘What is less known, but was discoverable by any diligent researcher at Oxford's Bodleian library, is that this fortune was based on money given to Mosley by Mussolini and Hitler (something Oswald and his wife Diana lied about for decades), ransoms paid by Jews to avoid the death camps, and, after the war, extensive and lucrative dealings with the Fuhrer's henchmen and other anti-Semites – dealings in which Max was involved …’

This ^^ is the story of the man and the money that we did not apparently have full access to back in February.

The secret meeting between Mosley, two Nazis - and Himmler's daughter

Oxford University sparked outrage by accepting millions in donations from a family trust controlled by the late Max Mosley, the son of British fascist leader Sir Oswald Mosley.

When do we expect a statement or interview where Harry blames the MIGS, William or Catherine ( who is jealous of M and doesn’t want to be upstaged)?

The BBC will be upset, they had their senior correspondents ready to go, and a top budget.

Random.

noonames · 28/06/2026 07:37

They’re evidently not getting what they wanted, whether that’s a meeting with Charles, photo ops at Diana’s grave, outriders and sirens wherever they go, maybe the accommodation offer isn’t to their liking (especially if a cottage at Sandringham, on a par with disgraced Andrew. Imagine if the only photo that came out of this was a papped shot of them bumping into him!) Maybe the Chelsea Pensioners have cancelled and Wimbledon and Aston Villa have told them they’re not wanted. So the children won’t come, partly because what’s the point if there’s no decent money to be made out of it (connecting with their UK heritage ha!) and partly to punish Charles for not giving in to this latest tantrum.

I think you are spot on .
Now who would have thought this would happen?

TheNinkyNonkyIsATardis · 28/06/2026 07:50

If the RAVEC review hasn't happened, then telling them last week was well outside the required 28 days notice.

I don't think the answer was "you can't have security". I think it was "you didn't give us the required notice to asses and plan protection". In Harry's head that's the same thing.
