There is a photo of Harry with his children with reference to Fathers Day . It shows him cuddling his children , with the girl's face partially shown but the son is turned fully into Harry and you only see the back of his head.
In most photos that they post this is always the case .
Why do they do this ?

I am hugely entertained by the frequent shenanigans of H&M - almost daily tin-eared proclamations, nonsense PR stunts - all directly from the horses mouth - for the world to ridicule. I actually can’t believe they give it all away for free, eroding their own brand with every manoeuvre - The Ratner Royals.

It is quite fascinating to watch - I can’t recall similar reputation collapse - maybe Katie Price? - but not obviously from such heights on this scale. ‘Squandered’ should be the sequel to ‘Spare’.

There is a level of shadenfreude to watch two grandiose, delusional, grifting bullies self destruct in real time, by their own hand on their own public platform. You couldn’t make it up really.

I agree. It's just turned out so bad, I never imagined how bad, though.

Where are you following them so intently to see all that? All I see is the occassional post that gets pushed up my algorithm on Facebook where they've done some innocuous, sometimes a bit cheesy, family picture.

I don't find them any where interesting enough to spend that much time looking at them and analysing their every move to that degree.

I'd advise you to not look too hard, as once you look, it's hard to look away!

To protect their children’s faces? They choose what they share.

Of course they choose what they share.
They choose to share details of their children's lives and activities.

Where are you seeing this? I’ve just looked at Megan’s official insta and she’s posted twice this month, and seems to generally post about 3/4 times a month- and they’re really very bland- Valentine’s Day, IWD, birthdays and anniversaries, BtS of her tv show.

Then don’t post pictures of them at all.

but if they didn't that would be wrong. posters would say they don't exist( one said that anyway)
if they showed their faces that would be wrong.

So they post images of their children doing activities in their own home in order to prove they exist? They should ignore ludicrous gossip.
No need for those children to be on social media at all.

No-one is interested anymore? I wish. Judging by this thread I'd say a lot of people are still interested - or obsessed maybe.

The interest however is pointing out how ridiculous they are … so that’s not really a win for them is it?

The Clooney's never show their children - they seem mature enough to ignore anyone spreading ridiculous conspiracy theories.

Meghan has posted enough "side images" of her children that anyone competent enough can put together a fairly decent full face composite.

Plus Meghan's friend Gloria Steinem showed full face images of both children, clearly with Meghan's approval.

Yes, here I am. Somewhat bemused at the phenomenon that is so much interest in them. Not vitriolic about those who are so fascinated. Just find it odd why anyone draws any conclusions about their whole lives from a few posts on social media.

Ah that explains your bemusement - there are many sources than Meghan’s insta - try their many interviews, her podcasts, Harry’s autobiography and their six-part documentary series 👍

No thanks! That's the point. I'm not that interested so I'm not going to track this stuff down. I don't understand why people go to the effort of that just to make up a load of stuff about how their reputation is collapsing and it's a huge fall for them etc. It's only that significant because you've gone looking for it.

Although I did watch the original Netflix thing and thought they came over fine. If the breakdown in the familial relations was mainly between the brothers and their wives I can see both couples being annoying in their own ways

Ah I see. I thought your point was finding it odd “why anyone draws any conclusions about their whole lives from a few posts on social media”. So just pointing out that nobody is doing that, there is a lot more stuff out there from which to draw conclusions. Slightly strange thing to say if you knew about and had watched the NF series and had formed an opinion based on it. (Why assume that other ‘fascinated’ people would only have seen Meghan’s social media, I mean.)

You thought they came over fine?
What about the fake film of harrassment by the paps that turned out to be about other people?

The Clooneys have class. They never use their children, but they have no need.
The Sussexes are a bit more desperate, which is a pity.

Hmm, not sure. That PP said they were entertained by the shenanigans, not that they were drawing conclusions about their whole lives, which is what was claimed. I don’t think many people would base conclusions about H+M’s whole lives on her insta, I agree that would be a bit ridiculous. Fair enough to find it entertaining though.

Not invested enough? 🤣
When I watch what purports to be a documentary record of people's experiences, I would have the expectation that the basic truths are included.
Not so with the Sussexes! We were hounded by the press, but there's no evidence so we'll show images of being hounded by the press which turned out to be other people.
It's not ok to put out fake news. It just undermines their credibility.

BridgetJonesV2 · 23/06/2026 13:16

Given how vocal they are about protecting children from the dangers of social media, it's a bit hypocritical to keep using their own children as they do.

“A few posts on insta”

That’s a bit disingenuous of you don’t you think?

What about adding in:

numerous high profile litigation cases year on year,

Ongoing public conflict with various charities,

a global exclusive interview with Oprah Winfrey,

Secretly providing info directly to Omid Scobie for his books and tweets,

a 6 part NF docuseries,

an autobiography Spare,

a twelve part podcast via Spotify,

multiple exclusive PR interviews to both broadcast, print and social media year on year,

multiple mercy dashes with PR film crews to topical disaster sites,

fake PR royal tours to a series of random countries,

random but now decreasing charitable contribution announcements,

Dragging the media into the details of her personal relationship with her ill father,

Pap walks,

Award collections and paid speaking gigs.

‘Clap backs’ via Page 6,

all the relentless bullying reports from employees - victims and witnesses published over the years in credible, legally watertight industry journals.

Until very recently H&M have employed whole teams of in-house as well as agency communications professionals to keep them front and centre in the media order to generate commercial opportunities and revenue streams. That’s what they left the RF for. They seem to have shed much of these employees now and seem to be doing it DIY with skeleton staff as their brand has collapsed.
