There is a photo of Harry with his children with reference to Fathers Day . It shows him cuddling his children , with the girl's face partially shown but the son is turned fully into Harry and you only see the back of his head.
In most photos that they post this is always the case .
Why do they do this ?

I don’t think they’ve been vitriolic either. I do think the comments are odd though- just demanding “why do they show them them” and “it really is that simple” are very black and white and I find it really odd to be so militant about a strangers choices when they don’t impact anything

Not sure I have been militant and demanding. I find it odd that if you are so concerned about children, social media and privacy then don’t post photos of them at all. The media will write all kinds of dross about people in the public eye, but surely you just learn to ignore it.

I have recently thought that these photos are all fake and in fact there are no children whatsoever, they don’t exist. Maybe they use dolls or something. Everything just looks so fake in every photo.

and people wonder why they don't want to show their faces.

Can I just point out you’ve invented this entire response to me? I haven’t said anything about privacy.

this presumably shows the level of attention and thought you and others actually put into your posts about Megan and Harry too. Slapdash, full of assumptions, no real thought behind it.

You are absolutely correct. I put very little thought into my comments re Megan and Harry - just a way of killing time on public transport.
you, however, do seem a little over invested.

Just leave them alone. Ffs. They left salty island so many years ago because the English bully like no other nation.

Bless!

Can't believe people still fall for the Markles' garbage. What about all of their privacy tours?
Some people should really open their eyes about England, if it's so bad why are people will to die to get here?

Make a mistake - get called out - blame the PP for being over-invested, nice! 👏

Meghan and Harry have no need to share photos of their children. We all know they have two children. Sharing them is a choice they make, same as any parent.

Given the many comments they have made about their need for security, and the fevered online interest they are very well aware they attract, plus the strong comments Harry has made against posting children's photos on social media, citing privacy risks and generative AI concerns, it is fair to wonder why they post photos of their children at all.

To take the latest photos posted or Father’s Day, they resulted in a story in People magazine gushing about the couple as parents, and also allowed Meghan to put details of the clothes the children were wearing on her affiliate shopping platform (from which she makes money). Both wearing Zara by the way.

So yes, I wonder why they have made this choice?

I mean, isn't it obvious?

The hate they've had the last few years?

I wouldn't be surprised if they were getting death threats fairly regularly, the amount of bile people spew about them.

I have family members who won't post face pics of their kids online.

It's really not unusual.

It’s all their own doing though. They’re desperate to look the part they’re playing to the world, but everyone (bar a few) see straight through their lies, their shameless use of people’s tragedies and toxicity … they use every single thing they can to get some free PR, they’re both fantasists and crisis vultures. Using their own kids as weapons against the RF and exploits their own children in SM for money and PR .. I think there’s a new word ‘sharent’ … yet they stand on stage and say how wrong this is for kids 🤯🤯🤯

AbsoluteHoot · 22/06/2026 10:54

It’s a lovely photo. Harry looks so happy.

Hypocrites like @Overtheatlantic don’t “fall for” anything. They deliberately pick and choose things that support their xenophobic bias.

fantom · 22/06/2026 11:22

If it's true that they're advertising the clothes worn in this photo, then this means they are monetising their children.
They REALLY don't need to do this, and they don't need to share their children online at all. Plenty of high profile celebs choose to keep their children private.
I don't know WHY they do this (to make money? to stir controversy?) but they don't need to, and it makes them look extremely hypocritical.

My2cents1975 · 22/06/2026 11:47

The superfans went from H&M don't show their kids unlike the Wales' (despite the endless Netflix mocumentary photos including A in the bath), to it is H&M's choice and they don't show their faces unlike the Wales'.

Now, when momager M needs to increase merching revenue and show the kids faces, I wonder what the new line will be. Will it be Sharenting is fine because M says so? Or is the goal to take pics with Grandpa King and promptly merch those outfits and blame Grandpa King for the big face reveal?

Wimbledon final or George's birthday would perfect times for the pics to leak. And there's always Diana in the mix.

Thedom · 22/06/2026 12:03

Loads of celebs keep their kids off SM, there seems to be three levels in celebrity SM engagement. There are those who really protect their kids privacy and security, like the Clooney’s,, those who are content creators who use their kids for branding but with face covered, like the Sussex’s, and those who go full on branding like the Kardashians.

Meghan using her kids for content would not be such a hot topic of criticism and ridicule if it wasn’t for their sanctimonious and insincere hopping on the bandwagon of SM restrictions and boundaries for others, but not for them it seems.

It epitomizes everything about them, hypocrites and phonies.

So if you don't like them, don't look.

It's really that simple.

I couldn't give one solitary shit about any of the royals and I don't ever see their pics in my feed.

It's entirely possible to pretty much never see them at all.

My comment here is more about it not being unusual to post pics of your kids with their faces unclear, because it's not!

It is the usual suspects with the usual "salty island" rhetoric.

The island that is so bad H&M want to come back to see rich King Grandpa with no consideration whatsoever to see poor Grandpa whose "crime" was to invade H&M's privacy.

H&M. Spare. Netflix mockumentary. Don't look at how H&M have invaded rich King Grandpa's privacy!

It’s a lovely photo. Harry looks so happy.

That was EXACTLY what I was going to say he looked so so happy, pleased for him
It's a lovely picture

If they don't want to show their faces, up to them and to be commended.
I remember Meghan posting a video of her with Archie as a baby in nappies and posters were truly disgusting picking him to pieces, unrepeatable.
So keep their faces away, good move afaic

Better still, don't post any pictures of them. Allow those children privacy. There is absolutely no need to promote such young children so often.

It must be to make money. Also, the Sussexes really love the limelight. We're talking about them now, so they've got what they want.

YourTruthorMine · 22/06/2026 22:36

They’ve burned every bridge they had. No one’s interested anymore, and there’s nothing left for them to cling to except pushing their kids — which they can’t even do, because they’ve branded themselves as champions of online safety, Clowns the pair of them

Pallisers · 22/06/2026 23:16

No-one is interested anymore? I wish. Judging by this thread I'd say a lot of people are still interested - or obsessed maybe.

So people can't recognize the kids easily in public. It makes it safer for the kids, and stops the public from harassing the kids in public.

Then don’t post pictures of them at all.

I am hugely entertained by the frequent shenanigans of H&M - almost daily tin-eared proclamations, nonsense PR stunts - all directly from the horses mouth - for the world to ridicule. I actually can’t believe they give it all away for free, eroding their own brand with every manoeuvre - The Ratner Royals.

It is quite fascinating to watch - I can’t recall similar reputation collapse - maybe Katie Price? - but not obviously from such heights on this scale. ‘Squandered’ should be the sequel to ‘Spare’.

There is a level of shadenfreude to watch two grandiose, delusional, grifting bullies self destruct in real time, by their own hand on their own public platform. You couldn’t make it up really.
