Will they stay at Royal Lodge? I really hope it all works out for KC and to see his grandchildren would be lovely.

Harry is wearing a baby blue linen shirt and a black 'Invictus Australia' baseball cap. Meghan is wearing a darker blue and white striped shirt.

Harry and Meghan offered royal accommodation during UK visit

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are set to visit the UK with their children next month, for the first time since 2022.

I know! It cracks me up when people demand 'proof' and 'evidence'!

This is basically gossip, not a PhD dissertation. Of course it's speculation!

I know! Plus, if they've been dumped by Netflix and Spotify, no renewal of the Trad Wife show and As Ever struggling, it's quite obvious that, although rich, they're beginning to need additional income for their lifestyle.
You don't need to see the bank accounts to work that out!

No one is saying they are on the bones of their arse, clearly they are wealthy but wealthy people still live beyond their means, you see it on here all the time posters on 200k a year saying they are struggling, that’s because the lifestyle they have chosen, large house, private schooling is crippling them, same for Harry and Meghan they just don’t have the amount of money for the lifestyle they want to live, their house is small in comparison to A listers who also have multiple homes across the globe, they are the poor relations in Montecito. The house is a massive clue, it’s dated, old fashioned and looks as though it was last decorated in the 90’s, the kitchen is a prime example. Normally that house would have been knocked down and been rebuilt if someone with real money had bought the plot, that’s what the seriously wealthy do, Adele knocked down Sylvester Stallone’s house that she purchased and rebuilt for example. Harry and Meghan’s running costs just to stand still have been estimated at between four to six million dollars a year before they even get up for breakfast, the money pool is running dry, hence hot footing it home to Daddy Warbucks.

Small? It has sixteen bathrooms! In a lot of the photos featuring Megan, apparent she used other kitchens as a setting for her cooking features.

I admit I am expecting proof from someone who confidently seems to know the well hidden wills and bequeaths of the monarchs! 🤷‍♀️

She used a kitchen in a completely different house for her NF show.

Her own kitchen is in a very dated style, as is what we've seen of the rest of the house. As the PP said, the normal practice among the super rich would be to rebuild the entire house from scratch, or at the very least gut it and renovate it to their taste before moving in. What's a few more million to them?

The fact that the house very clearly hasn't been redecorated for decades shows that Harry and Meghan are not at their neighbours' level of wealth. Obviously they are very well off by most normal standards, but that's not what they aspire to.

Yes, there is plenty of 'evidence' out there if you choose to look.

Would it pass muster in a court of law or peer reviewed journal? Probably not. But this is just gossip about a pair of comical grifters, so the standards are somewhat looser.

jeffgoldblum · 27/06/2026 16:01

Trusts can be made before they pass , but absolutely nobody in this country apart from those concerned and the lawyers will have that information!
so whoever you have been listening to has absolutely no credible information and is merely speculating and if the source was the lawyer then they are about to be in serious legal trouble themselves for breaking the law!

so do please reveal who told you this information.

Edited

As if their lawyers would be interviewed on the radio! Loads of Royal correspondents talk about this sort of stuff . However the relatives of the Monarch receive money, or are made provision for whether it’s during their lifetime, trusts, allowances etc it will be talked about in the media. No one is going to demand proof! However, you do seem to be quite an expert yourself, so please keep enlightening us!

Yes, it's just about looking at the situation and working things out!

Speculation is one thing!! You do know that none of these “royal “ corespondents have any better idea than we do!
and whatever money the royal family receives from other family members is not made public! So it is nothing but rumours and gossip!
I would advise considering that before declaring as fact that you know what inheritance they will receive based on no actual information!

noonames · 27/06/2026 16:30

I’m not sure Harry would be doing paid gigs talking to estate agents if they were rolling in it. Nor Meghan selling selfies and merching her outfits. Bit of a comedown from the lofty plans of philanthropy in their manifesto.

Yes small by A lister standards, the Clooney’s for example. The kitchen she used for her show was very pretty, their own kitchen, not so much.

The same grandmother who was actively sheltering her paedo son? Aye right, very frail...not hard faced and terrible at all. A paragon of virtue in fact.. lol. They are all despicable.

This!

There is no evidence to support that rumour about Meghan .

Well there’s no photographic evidence but certainly a bit of written evidence.

Somewhat bizarrely this has just been picked up by R5 of the BBC this morning. The king is offering accommodation in a Royal residence apparently but they don’t know which one. When are they coming? Won’t C&C be at Balmoral by then?

If they come in July I doubt if Charles and Camilla will have gone to Scotland by then.

IdaGlossop · 27/06/2026 21:17

I've had to sit down. I know people on this thread will struggle to believe it but the Sussexes trip to the UK is in doubt. Why? Because RAVEC, apparently, has pronounced 'no increased security'. That means they will only be protected when on Royal property.

I'm confused. What happened to the 30 days notice and security provided on a case-by-case basis? Unless there has been an assessment and it has found the threat level has decreased so the hospital and sports venues they plan need to visit are deemed safe.

My brain hurts. If you want to make a good account of yourself in the land of your birth, don't you double- and triple-check the minutest detail of every aspect of your itinerary before the press announcement, especially the security? And if you're concerned for your safety, do you tell the world in advance which buildings you're going to be visiting?

Dickhead doesn't even begin to cover it.

The trips they are undertaking are private trips. They aren't attending as working Royals that's why. They still think they are working Royals.

They're just playing games as usual. Look at me/don't look at me.

Its different to say I think they cant afford it which is then clearly an assumption than to say they cant afford it which presents it as a fact. But withour proof its is a lie.

Well you like to call Megahn out for her lies but then post lies yourself....the irony

My post was tongue-in-cheek. That there would be issues was entirely predictable.

😂 Meghan has lied, that's proven.
This is a discussion thread, much like the one on William. Evidence has already been put forward about H&M's finances, but of course it's conjecture based on the failure or discontinuation of their money making schemes and being dropped by Netflix, Spotify etc
I'm sure that you can see the difference.
