Harry is so miserable in public now.

i know he was much younger but Harry and Chelsy seemed so happy together, in all the photos of her during their relationship she seemed natural and unaffected and in love with him. You would have to wonder why he repeatedly cheated on her,

Thanks for posting. I note in one of the early pictures of them all on the stairs of the chapel Charles and Andrew glowering at each other 😂
And the York girls surely wearing two of the most awful outfits ever!

It's odd, I recall Zara doing a Hello special with her jockey boyfriend before that all went pear shaped, but I have no memory at all of Peter doing a Hello wedding special. It seems incredible he would have kept this a quiet secret from the entire family. I'm not surprised Anne didn't ask about the plans re:photographer - Anne could undoubtedly organise an expedition to the North Pole for the entire British army but I doubt she is much interested in wedding planning. That's what wedding planners are for - write the cheque and leave it to the bridal couple would be more her scene I should think (probably with an expression of horror at the size of the cheque required which may well have prompted Peter to seek alternative funding!).

They could have done "sweet" photos of the bride and bridesmaids getting ready, evening before celebrations with the bride's family and friends from Canada, the wedding and a post wedding photo shoot and I doubt there would have been too many raised eyebrows. But having the photographer hanging around at the reception and evening do taking off the cuff photos (and no doubt overhearing lots of interesting conversations) is really naughty. I'm not surprised he was in trouble. But I suppose at the end of the day harmless enough, no unpleasant accusations etc etc, just sugary adoration and lots of lovey photos.
As regards inadvertent conversations overheard....friends of my parents had someone video their daughter's wedding, recording the speeches etc. Unfortunately he also recorded someone saying "Poor M&C, X(the groom) is so insufferable and Y(the bride) is such a sweet girl". The voice was identified and struck from the friend list. 😂

Well done Harry (and/or Meghan) reminding us all about this and stirring the pot on Peter's (2nd) wedding day. I bet most of us apart from the keenest royal watchers had forgotten all about it, just as I had. (Just as everyone had forgotten about "Waity Katie" or indeed didn't even know about it until Meghan reminded everyone.) I doubt this is all Harry's work.

That site is interesting - if you look at the Duchess of Sussex photos there are lots of her in bright colours which she said she rarely wore coloured outfits when she was in the BRF. Bullshit, as usual!

When she was a working member of the RF, Meghan wore bright yellow, red, purple, blue and green.
There is photographic evidence, so lying about it is quite baffling.
The beige only started in Montecito.

Yes, and it’s also really interesting to see those 2019 photos now, no one was commenting that Meghan was constantly wearing coat dresses with a tied belt at the waist.

What is obvious though is how true that saying is, ‘An embittered spirit leaves a mark on the face’. it’s only 6 years and they have both aged really, really badly.

Look at Catherine and William by contrast from 2019, despite major surgery, cancer and chemotherapy, Catherine has not changed that much at all, neither has William.

Irememberwhenitwasallfieldsroundhere · Today 12:20

Totally agree @ShamedBySiri - H&M have succeeded in dragging up a load of old shit about Peter's first wedding, completely vindicates the decision not to invite them. And they did that without even being there!

Serrinn · Today 12:28

Chelsy looks like a breath of fresh air in those pics.

William has changed, imo. He's lost the Windsor jowly cheeks, and is much leaner - he's having a good looking 40s after a so-so 30s.

Have you seen what she looks like now? She's absolutely beautiful, with a very handsome husband and 3 children. She looks very happy.

I agree. He obviously looks after himself, and keeps fit. He looks very tall and lean and carries himself well. He's definitely aged well.

The Mail over the weekend was writing about Meghan at her wedding along with a couple of other jabs. Weird timing but probably would have not happened if Harry had not tried to play the victim, again.

I mean how awful is it to put private photos and stories in the public arena for money Harry? You should know since you did that yourself.

Thedom · Today 12:42

William has the salt and pepper beard now, I agree he looks good, but I don’t think the change in his appearance is as dramatic as the change in Harry.

Harry looks awful. Meg still very beautiful but looks very very different. It's as if her teeth are too big for her face and she seems to have a lot of work done

Thedom · Today 13:15

Meghan now has that generic look, like a facial mish-mash of the Kardashians and the one from friends.

W has aged really well. I didn’t really consider him handsome when he was young but I definitely consider him attractive now. H looks like someone who lives an unhealthy lifestyle.

Yes, the 40s are looking really good on William. He went from being a pin up to looking like an accountant to now looking like a very attractive middle aged man. He has his mother to thank for his height and bone structure! Harry never had those advantages, but he was reasonably attractive when he was younger. Now, however he looks dreadful.

It's really hard to believe that Harry was miserable as The Spare and mistreated by his awful family back in those days.

He obviously really liked Kate, and Kate and Chelsea got on well.

He's totally rewritten history. Its so sad.

Yes, and the saddest thing is that he probably genuinely believes it all.

No doubt there were tensions and resentments, as there are in all families. And granted the 'spare' situation would have been a bit weird, especially as there were just the two of them, both boys and very close in age. His parents' divorce will have been tough too, but millions of children go through similar situations, albeit without the entire world looking on.

Now Harry is on the other side of the world, with no family other than his wife and children, and no real friends. It didn't have to be this way. However, I doubt Harry - or his wife - have the capacity to introspect and understand just how badly he has messed up his life.

SqueakyDinosaur · Today 13:46

He can't really afford to self-reflect in any meaningful, honest way, because the bridges he has burned have turned out so badly for him and it would involve admitting his own culpability.
