Weren't they pushing the idea a while ago that they were close with the Spencer's who were so much more their real family than the horrible rf and even putting out some nonsense about having a place to live on the Spencer estate? Well that’s the advantage of being part of the well oiled machine of the RF. They are in tight control of who gets to approach the RF member and be photographed with them. Just another example of how foolish H and M were to think they could establish a rival ‘court’ in California.

This is precisely why you can't play pretendy royal. And why it's really stupid to try. There's an entire machine protecting royals and smoothing their path. And even then it occasionally goes wrong. What hope does a jam 'spread' merchant in Montecito have?

The wedding photos are very sad because they show how much support, joy and potential there was.

I loved their wedding. I was so optimistic about them. I was really happy that Harry had at last found love. I believed they were going to be committed to and a bonus to the RF. I loved to joy of the crowds supporting them that day. I loved seeing Windsor look so beautiful in the sunshine.

And now eight years on it's all gone. They threw it all away and are living a sad little life scrapping around for money making opportunities and selling fruit spread on Instagram.

When they show their children the photos of their wedding the children will not know a single person there except Doria. They'll see crowds of people that they do not know and that their parents no longer know. They'll see places they've never been, they'll see pageantry they'll never be part of and they'll see adoring crowds they'll never experience, and family they've hardly ever met.

These photos show another life. One they just threw away and burnt their bridges in the process. Such a waste. Such a shame for their children.

Those photos - she may as well say " look what we had" and "look at me now grasping for social media presence, talking on a roundabout and taking photos with a racist" . She really doesn't think things through does she?

I suspect Elton just so happens to be in one of his many other residences whenever the Sussexes are in the vicinity. Another major difference from the glory days 8 years ago. Then, they were welcome everywhere. Indeed it would have been seen as an honour to host them. Now, not so much.

I feel a little bit emotional looking at the photos of H and M’s wedding. My dm died three days before their wedding and I remember watching it with my df and feeling a very strong contrast between the happy scenes on the tv and how we were feeling. I also really missed having my mum to gossip with about the wedding. My df is a rabid republican!

@jeffgoldblumnot at all. The main point I was making that the photos reminded me that public was really happy for H and M. I knew people who had got up early and gone to Windsor to see them. Lots of people I know had bbqs to celebrate. They threw away a lot of goodwill towards them.

We had a big party , all wore red white and blue. Has traditional British party food. I made a big Eton Mess.

It wasn't just a selfie. She went for dinner with that creep. Who is her PR??

In fairness I think it was a group dinner. I don't think she went on a cozy dinner date with this creep. But the selfie is bad enough.

As for 'PR' I don't it really exists anymore. I think she does most of it herself, and the results are plain to see.

I missed my daughter’s swim gala where she qualified for regionals. We did a big celebration with girl guides and there was a special royal wedding badge created, mostly in Meghan’s honour . It’s outrageous the way they have branded the British public as hostile/racist towards their marriage, and the event as a “spectacle” that meant nothing to them. And now she wants us to forget all that they have said about it, and coo over her photos. She’s utterly narcissistic and has no regard whatsoever for the sensibilities of others.
