So People blurred out the bus, pedestrians, traffic lights , empty roundabout and filled it in with a blurred image of the UN entrance flag poles 😀

According to several posters on X , Meghan was furious about the small number of attendees and refused to pose in a group photo .

There wasn't a lot of publicity surrounding the event though. I'm surprised she didn't announce it a week or 2 beforehand

It was totally a platform for her to perform on then (as if that were in any doubt), no thought at all for the cause she was claiming to be there to support.

Those flag poles were behind Meghan too - see photo below - but it’s difficult to see how they would have taken the photo without the photographer standing directly in front of her as she spoke. And given you can see what must be someone's blurry (grey) head on the bottom left, it looks like the photographer actually was standing behind the audience and using a telephoto lens. A very stage managed shot, in other words.

I don’t think she will consider it a win at all, though hence the nervy speech, only a handful of people, mainly delegates and staff in attendance, she will be absolutely raging, particularly it being so close to Catherine’s triumphant visit to Italy, it’s just highlighted how far she has fallen and she knows it, as does the comments section in this DM article, no one is buying she was nervous headline they all know it was because hardly anyone turned up and apparently no mention of the visit on the Swiss news either.

I think she appears nervous as she's not speaking about herself, her love 🙄 and the 2 kids (and how much they love her)

It is all about her life's work of padding out her own bio. Now she can say 'addressed the WHO in Geneva' as part of her credentials.
I strongly dislike her performative eyes closed hug of a bereaved parent.

God she’s shameless

It's that exaggerated closed eyes performance of hers I hate. She does it sometimes to pretend she's searching for the right words to convey her depth, before continuing to say something trite generic and planned.
She also does it to convey how special and wonderful moments in her life are, as if talking about them moves her so deeply she closes her eyes to absorb it.

And she uses it to show how much she is deeply empathising.

It's all so obviously fake.

She 'addressed the UN in New York' before she even met Harry. Now she's 'addressing' a crowd that could comfortably fit inside your local pub, on the fringes of the main event.

I had the impression this was a hastily arranged trip to clapback at Catherine in Italy. It has all the signs of something flung together at short notice. No time for specially commissioned items of clothing I wouldn’t have thought. Though I suppose she could have just got items delivered PDQ and ran with it.
