Meg and Harry and all their PR shenanigans

The point of my post was that BA seems an odd choice for a multi-millionaire global superstar, considering she wasn't apparently stopping in London and presumably has no links or special relationship with the airline. It's an inferior first class product, and if she was happy to connect then it would make sense to choose the most luxurious option, which would be Air France. If she wanted convenience, she could have chosen Swiss. Especially as both those options have doors to the seats, which BA does not. And Swiss would negate the need for mingling with commoners on European business short-haul. Again, a strange pick when she's so concerned with privacy. So maybe she either does have a relationship with the national airline of the country she's sworn never to return to as we're all massive racists, or she's so strapped for cash it's all she can afford. Or maybe it's just whoever booked the flights always uses BA and didn't think to look any further. It just struck me as peculiar.

And it wouldn't be at all odd if Catherine used BA as it's the national airline of the country where she's about to be queen, so one would very much expect a special relationship! If she flew with anyone else, it might be worthy of mention.

Funnily enough there was one particular British female entertainer who was notorious across the Cabin crew world for behaving in the manner you describe, I didn't know JLo did similar.

TBF a lot of the genuine Hollywood level celebs almost sneak on, and sneak off and are very very well behaved.

I think Meghan just does whatever the hell she wants, just goes around being her true and authentic self (which I agree is often displayed after a few too many vinos) and has her husband and children in thrall to her. She is the breadwinner, after all, and knows how things work in LA better than Harry does (he doesn’t seem to know how anything works, anywhere). And I reckon she loves the internet talking about her, good or bad. She will spin the bad into “I’m the most trolled person in the world, pity me” and lap up the good as vindication. She is certainly insecure, though, and I think Harry is like a comfort blanket who soothes her and tells her she’s great and he’d be lost without her (prob true). Imagine being beholden to a narc. Harry’s in a tinier and more precarious prison now than he was before!

I wonder if she was concerned about about the Internet safety, security and privacy of the BA staff who signed the card - were their needs taken into consideration?

Or what about the children she posted from a new, private, previously unseen photo from her wedding - were these children (bridesmaids and pages) and/or their parents (all of whom she has since fallen out with) consulted and consented to their childrens images (not blurred out) been launched on a global social media site (straight after her talk at WHO about internet safety). You couldn’t make it up.

I remember once on MN ( must be 10 years ago) "What cabin crew think of celebrities type thread" which linked to an anonymous forum contributed to by cabin crew. All I can recall was , allegedly, Cilla Black threw her weight about a bit.

I don't care a jot about which route MM took to Geneva. I would be interested , given it was a "philanthropic" visit , who paid for it. I also think it was unseemly at the least to post that card & I'm in the it was at least hinted at if not outrightly asked for camp.
Anyway , I think it goes to show without the MIGS covering every detail for you , it is quite hard to carry off a faux royal visit successfully .

We've already seen Meghan's extensive use of the kids in her own interests, and does anyone seriously imagine she'd hesitate to do the same regarding custody if it came to it?

One more about the "wedding drop". To use a photo of H&M at their Royal Wedding to sell an As Ever candle which reminds her of her wedding , I think , isn't just sailing close to the wind but has completely gone against the Sandringham agreement. That said , as I understand it , that agreement wasn't a contract. It was a Gentleman's (and Gentlewoman's ) handshake. It looks clear to me that they don't feel bounden by it and are now just doing whatever they like because they don't fear any comeback from the RF.
