For sure that's one or two crew members on that flight who are absolutely not fans of the person they've been asked to sign a card for. I'm guessing that Tracey, who's nice handwriting is on the bottom of the card either didn't see or saw it and realised scrubbing out fake names would look terrible. However, clearly M didn't read it and just posted to show how adored she is, without realising there was a bitchy dig hidden in there. Or she doesn't care - which we know isn't true.

This just indicates how utterly oblivious she is.
I'm actually cringing for her.

Sad really. If anyone of any worth had sent one they we can be sure it would have been shared on SM. But the only card is from the crew.

Hopefully if anything the repercussions will be no more than a company notice about signing such cards, or if the fun police really get involved it'll be a ban on all such cards..

Richie Rich was actually an American comic book series before it was a film - of the same vintage as the “Archie and Veronica” Riverdale comics which Meghan definitely knows about, because she has talked previously about how growing she identified with the character Betty in the series. I’m surprised she didn’t notice the obvious pseudonyms - or maybe she did but cared more about getting the photo of the card out more than she cared about the details?

And yes, posting the card with the names of identifiable crew members on it is a clear and obvious breach of their privacy. But it’s all in service of Meghan’s narrative about how beloved she is by those around her for her many remarkable personal qualities, so who cares about anyone else’s privacy? No point letting a gesture that it’s highly likely she set up for herself go to waste, is there…

Flew BA today. And, following all the usual announcements at the beginning of the flight was one I've never heard before. A reminder not to take photographs of passengers or crew without their permission.
