Yes I meant it is odd given how ‘perfect’ everything has to be for her. It’s a perfectly nice, cosy looking kitchen but it isn’t Instagrammable!

Not to mention that the earliest she could have left Geneva was Sunday night.

There are no direct LA to Geneva flights and I doubt anyone coughed up for a private jet. So she'll have had to make a lenghty journey across 9 time zones, with a stopover, and then was all bright and bushy tailed for her 'intimate' anniversary party? I know she will have flown 1st class, but that's a long journey with major jet lag potential, especially as she only flew out a day or two previously.

If as the card indicates she was on the BA269 LHR-LAX Monday PM she would had time to fly commercial shorthaul (probably also with BA) GVA -LHR Monday PM, with plenty of time for the connection.

FWIW Monday's 269 arrived LAX 1925 LAX local time ......

ETA that for what it's worth I used to do a similar travel pattern ocassionally when working and it's tiring but not do tiring you can't nip out for a beer in town on arrival.

That's ridiculously OTT for a random anniversary. Makes me wonder if a filmed 'renewal of vows' really is in the works.

Also worth noting that for all her 'celebration' of the anniversary, she doesn't bother to say how much she loves her husband and how grateful she is to be married to him.

So seemingly she flew via london and arrived at LAX at 7.30am this morning Cali time. So she wouldn’t be back for hours. Why were the kids still at the house in their pjs

By the time she got home it would have been too late for the 'party' so either it happened several days ago or this morning. But why would you have a party, with a cake, before kids leave for school in the morning? Seems that @Indianrollerbird's theory about the video being part of the recent 'As Ever' shoot is probably correct.

Yes, I signed a few cards like that over the years and winced a bit when I saw that image..I don't know if she needs permission to publish but I wonder if one or two of the crew might not be best pleased.

Honestly it's not really too late to party, or at least socialise after that sort of itinary, if you have reason or are motivated

I've flown into LAX a fair bit from the UK (even flown the 269) and it wasn't unusual to get to the hotel, shower, change, and head out for a beer with colleagues for an hour or so to unwind.

Given MM wasn't working on the flight and so would have been resting I'd certainly expect her to be able to cope with a small party on getting home.

Assuming she was on that flight and it arrived on time, it will still have been well after 9 by the time she got to Montecito. That's definitely too late for a 4 and 7 year old to have a 'party'. Besides, it looks to be daylight in the video.

honestly this is one the least offensive things they have done.

Isn’t it a fair way from LAX to Montecito, though? Nearly 100 miles by car, and that’s after getting through the airport, immigration, getting luggage etc. Unless she took a private jet, but even that would be at least an hour of faffing with luggage and getting a take off slot, etc.

Are 'quick pre school parties' really a thing?

Why on earth would you have a party at breakfast time, complete with cake and candles, while rushing the kids out to school? Why not wait until they're home in the afternoon?

I'd agree getting to Monticeto complicates things and looking at sunset times (1955 ish) it would have been dark there by the time she got home...

I'll maintain I don't see there's any reason to cry foul over the idea of her flying GVA-LHR-LAX and then having a short party on getting home simply on the basis of fatigue. OTOH if the video (which I haven't seen) shows daylight I agree the event wasn't Monday night.

Because of the 8 hour time difference between them and London. Doing it before school and getting it up on Instagram caught the UK news cycle. A party this evening would not have. This was not a party for the kids or to celebrate their marriage - it was PR pure and simple.

I'd bet good money Meg bought the penguin ornament and printed the photos etc and Harry was instructed to give it to her while they film it. It was weird how it was all about her. Sing happy anniversary momma, give momma gifts. What about dad? It's their anniversary.

I wonder if she's going to go this route with more mini reality/ set up videos of their life?

And of course minimal fuss made about the son's birthday. This bullshit anniversary stunt is ALL about Meg.

So she’s happy to leverage her title and travel BA via London for the VIP treatment at London and no doubt free first class upgrades. She could have travelled with an American airline or Swiss or even Air France, Aer Lingus, Air Canada or Austrian. But they probably wouldn’t treat her with as much deference as the UK flag carrier. Or give her a free upgrade to first.

The Lost Screen displays were an Archewell idea. So Archewell probably paid for the screens to be made and lobbied the WHO to allow them to be displayed outside. How long are they there for or are they gone already?

Very good point. Archie got one random pic with his sister that could be from any time. Another as him as a baby.

No video of a cake, no 20 odd photos dumped and no link to his candle (although the last one is a good thing)

Shes went completely overboard with this, that it makes her look unhinged.
