So the picture with Lili was an advert for the suit she wore at this event. She dressed it up as having fun or playing dress up with clothes Lili chose for her. She’s vile. Always happy to make a buck off a sick or dead childs back.

Mencia · 18/05/2026 06:57

Appears she’s a horrible person. But I don’t understand why she wants everybody to realise.

Found a side on view. It looks like a (very) small crowd present. That Armani suit was worth every penny - it looks sharp and smart. Trousers a good length and not overlong.

Love the trouser suit and the professional hair do. I think she nailed it. Not sure the setting would have pleased her though!

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 18/05/2026 07:04

Hold the front page - middle aged woman finally learns how to dress herself! 😁

What a shame she couldn’t resist dicking about on Instagram prior to the event.

They seem to be getting the message from Australia.

But that makes the photo on insta worse.

So not sharing fashion links due to the occasion (so looks like they have learnt something) but instead creating a photo to clearly show what she was wearing prior to the speech. So they haven't really learnt anything.

In fact this is possibly even more shameless, given the subject matter.

...and she did wear a lilac shell top to a meeting afterwards - perhaps the wardrobe outfit was a dress rehearsal after all and that was all that survived? I'm verging on 'style and beauty' forum here so will stfu!

I’m interested in the allegations of plagiarism (again).

Just repeating someone else’s words to get herself publicity off the back of someone else’s tragedies. Awful.

It’s isn’t Meghan choosing not to share where the clothes came from, it’s a content creator who identifies all clothes worn by royals (not just British Royals), I don’t believe she gets a cut from designers for identifying clothes.

Clearly she has more decorum than Meghan, who still managed to promote the outfit she wore, not as crass as at Bondi, but still very overt.

Thedom · 18/05/2026 03:23

It’s an ‘island (for want of a better description) with roads on all sides, with a sculpture of a broken chair, it’s a public open space, directly in front of the entrance to the Palais des Nations. looks like there was only a handful of attendees, perhaps some of the families ?

They usually close it off for high profile or high security events, It looked to be business as usual with cars driving by and people wandering around, so they obviously didn’t restrict access, now that would not happen if Charles or William were attending an event there.

Incredible that she managed to squeeze so much PR out of it, it was really a non event.

Thanks for the explanation.
What a long way to go to give a mediocre partially plagiarised speech. I wonder if she flew commercial or got a private jet from somewhere, and who paid for it.

Perhaps I’m confused but I dont think it was her who posted that she wouldn’t share links to her clothes because of the occasion. I thought it looked like a blogger called ‘what Meghan wore’ who said it.

sorry. I think I cross posted with Thedom.

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 18/05/2026 08:25

Sorry I misunderstood.

Thedom · 18/05/2026 08:27

There are no direct flights from LA to Geneva, I doubt she inconvenienced herself by transiting somewhere, so I imagine she flew private.

The WHO DG fangirling H&M is a really bad look for the organisation, who have a huge financial deficit and laying off thousands of people (but none of the DG’s buddies who are all on huge salaries in roles that he has personally created)

When you see this, you can kind of understand why Trump pulled out of the WHO. It’s interesting how it’s usually those with a shady background , not much integrity, who are happy to help promote the toxic duo.

I think he's not around anymore.

Did she not dump him because she thought he was using her ? Officially she has decided to do her own make up . Economy drive ?

The only thing she has in common with Trump - foundation. Orange, as well.
Why does she feel we’d buy into a beauty line of hers?
Her make up could be fabulous, but it was very heavy at this event.

Yes, leaving her children 9 time zones away to give a banal speech at a minor event on the fringes of the conference.

I think her private jet days are over. An LA to Geneva flight is about 13 hours and would require a 'heavy duty' jet. No way she can afford that herself and nobody is going to subsidise her either.

I didn't like it. Head to toe black was too severe. Also, her shirt is a 'blacker black' than her suit and makes it look greyish. This is why you should never wear uncoordinated black pieces together, as any decent stylist would tell her. I also think her make up is too harsh and overdone for a daytime event of this nature.

There are plenty of commentators out there with interesting things to say about Tedros and WHO, and their associations with the Clinton / Gates ‘philanthropy industry’.

There are some really dark allegations too (terrorism alignment; the sexualisation of teenage girls in some African countries). I’d say it sounds crazy but then so did the Epstein stuff once.

Makes my brain reel.

Meanwhile Meg gives a ripped off speech on a roundabout wearing clothes that are less shit than usual.

AtIusvue · 18/05/2026 09:37

I find it really strange that there’s no details about the purple outfit.

https://whatmeghanwore.net/meghan-in-geneva-the-lost-screen-memorial/

This site which has the pic of the dress and tells you about her black suit outfit (that I’ve seen elsewhere referred to as looking like the first suit a graduate buys) doesn’t tell you about the purple- even though they link it to the insta pic.

That’s the whole point of this website- to tell you where she got it from. No one seems to be able to figure it out. I haven’t seen anywhere that has stated where the outfit is from. It’s quite distinctive…surely not hard to find?

So I’m thinking, this isn’t retail. This is something she’s had made….maybe to give her a cosplay princess diaries moment? Which even for Meg, would be another level of insanity.

Dr Tedros was also a close associate of Robert Mugabe. In 2017 he appointed him as a UN Goodwill Abassador from WHO, which sparked universal concern and condemnataion. The appointment was swiftly rescinded…

What a lovely event and great speech from Meghan, very heartfelt - she looked stunning on a vainer note.

I’m not sure I’d describe the opening of a memorial to deceased children as a “lovely event”?? I agree with you though that Meghan looked good - sombrely dressed for a sombre event.

Edited

I actually liked the suit , but for someone with a forensic eye for detail and one who seems to positioning herself as a fashion expert I agree with the mismatched black - but cf her outfit at the Kardashians. I suspect it looked better IRL , but photographs do reflect different colours , materials differently. I think she was very much going for "serious Meghan" here. This is probably far too pernickety and a very personal opinion , I wouldn't have worn all black to a memorial exhibition about children who have lost their lives. That , though is one opinion and quite happy to be shot down for it, I can see more than one view. Anyway , not the most important thing. I still think hanging the jacket label outwards on an instagram post the day before was misguided.

ET , I do think being sombrely dressed was appropriate.

jeffgoldblum · 18/05/2026 10:21

A borrowed speech! , stunning?? 🤔
