Catherine is in Italy so stand by !

I was just looking at the pics from there. Catherine and the baby 😂 and the other children. She's always looking at them not the camera.

That’s such a cute photo and Catherine doesn’t need to grab children by the shoulders to make them look at her either.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 13/05/2026 16:01

Harry needs to get a bloody job. He can’t just swan about pretending to be a statesman meanwhile his wife is having to caress jam jars to try and make a bit of money

Oh but he can, @AtIusvue ... not that he's in the least credible in that role, but he carries on trying to do it because he's good for nothing else

As for some alleged friends "not letting Meghan fail", she's already failed in just about everything she's tried, so I'd say that horse has bolted

corblimeygvnr · 13/05/2026 16:04

I've also been reading about the reaction in Australia - of course Invictus Australia are claiming that this will make veterans suffer. The Gov have other ideas however and perhaps see the shitshow Invictus has become and why it's better to spend it locally to encompass more veterans. I don't know anything about the guy who made this decision with others I assume but can't help think that the recent " tour" was the final straw. I know that many in Australia are republican - possibly this faux Royal tour also pissed them off. There's also been a big hoo ha over the Canadian event . You can understand why people are getting nervous.
As regards Melloney Poole I had never heard of her. When you look at her background WOW! These are the people who do the real work behind the scenes without courting publicity.

What can harry do? Zero qualifications, zero charisma, zero skills. However, he's loaded anyway so doesn't have to do anything

why can't he care for the children full time and lose the staff ???

SqueakyDinosaur · 13/05/2026 16:09

Would you trust Harry with a 7 and a 4 year old? In a place with big gardens with pools (koi and swimming, at a minimum)?

After some parenting classes maybe. Get off the Xbox and keep the weed smoking until kids in bed.

what a waster. I'm no Meg fan but living with him must be hell

SqueakyDinosaur · 13/05/2026 16:11

It's just past 8am in CA now, so surely the clock is ticking for the Catherine Clapback....

And if M really thinks C is arranging things on the spur of the minute she is mad. Their diaries are scheduled, even if only tentatively, months ahead. In C's case there will be a health permitting proviso, I would imagine, that will continue for a while yet.

I feel Archie is always portrayed in a very odd way but not Lilly. He's almost ridiculed. I hope to god the little boy doesn't have any additional needs as his twat parents are just not equipped to deal with it

Lili has an orphan Annie vibe about her.

Well she’s staring in the mirror or on social media whilst he’s gaming.

She looks lovely. Her niceness makes her attractive in a way that just can’t be achieved if you’re an uptight crosspatch, no matter how much you spend on veneers and having your face rearranged every few months.

"uptight crosspatch" is gonna bevmy put-down of the week. Love it!

Meghan knows this. Even if she was only a working royal for 72 days, she knows the work that goes into royal tours and visits and how far in advance they are arranged. This is just more bullshit from the Sussex side trying to make out that their one sided "feud" is reciprocated and that the royals are playing their game, rather than H&M trying to copy the royals.

If he loses the ANL case Harry is going to be on the hook for millions.

What happened to the costs for the 'security' case? He lost not only the case itself, but also at least one appeal. So we're talking expenses well into the hundreds of thousands. Right at the start of this farce of a 'case', the Home Office lawyer specifically said that they would pursue Harry for all costs, because they had to use what is essentially public money for their defence. I really hope they did get the money out of him, because he was using the courts as a venue for his bruised ego trips.

Great photo.

I'm not a big fan of the 'Early Years' project but Catherine really is in her element around children. Genuine eye contact and connection there, not performative invasive hugging. Catherine and that adorable little boy (at least it looks like a boy?) seem utterly charmed by one another.

It is over. Harry lost at the High Court, and then at the Court of Appeal exactly a year ago. The case should never have been brought in the first place. Total farce and a waste of public money and resources.

I’ve always thought that was a reckless parenting choice. Not to fence around the pool and the brook. It’s such a huge garden, a child could easily run off.

Can you say why not?

From what I've seen the Centre for Early Childhood is doing a lot of good work. I'm very interested to see what comes out of the latest research they have commissioned on technoference (hopefully with evidence and strategies).

Well, I don't want to drag this thread off topic but I think the Early Years thing is a bit amorphous and 'Captain Obvious'. Maybe it will pay off in the years to come but thus far I'm not impressed. Also, because so much related to child well-being requires public funding, it veers a little bit too close to the political for comfort. I think something more 'hands on' and sporty would suit Catherine better.

And that's all I'll say as I'm usually the first to complain when threads go way off topic!

I think the media could be clearer about what Catherine is doing with this project, and the palace PR have a role here.

If I understand this correctly, she's a putting her royal (and currently popular) name to 'early years research' in order to promote existing research programmes, institutes, funding and grassroots action, by lending her persona, role and credibility to these. She started in the UK, and is now looking to enhance the public profile of succesful programmes and subsequently the funding of the things that work around the world.

At the moment the message is a bit muddled, I think. She's supposed to be shining a light on experts, successful programmes, worthwhile funding and research. She's not the researcher herself. When the media talk about her 'fact finding' like she's doing her own research, it causes some people to raise their eyebrows. It would be better if the palace press releases and the PR people with her were presenting it clearly as Catherine 'learning, in order to help to promote what's important for young children and what is known to work'.

Maybe the MIGS don't get it.

I thought this was still ongoing? Awaiting a decision from RAVEC?

Legally speaking, no. Harry lost the Judicial Review and the appeal, and has no further legal options.

RAVEC are supposedly conducting a review of his security requirements but I doubt their overall policy will change. Harry simply isn't important enough to warrant on demand police protection with no advance notice. The current arrangements are more than fair and reasonable.
