I'm just astonished at the way Harry and Meghan seem to get away with their atrocious behaviour being virtually ignored by the MSM.

Now a speech by Harry about antisemitism. Literally a couple of weeks after H and M visited the site of an antisemitic terrorist attack on Bondi Beach- during which a jovial Harry slapped a male lifeguard on the arse (and Meghan used the visit to try to make a bit of cash by flogging clothes online).

That Harry. Like he gives a fuck about antisemitism.

The MSM are an embarrassment.

Regarding The King’s USA visit it occurs to me there would have been an amusing dilemma had invitations been issued to one of the big events.
1 Pointedly and publicly decline, to be seen to return the insult to Trump.
2 Accept to be seen back in the fold, very Royal Royals, the most Royal of Royals ever.

Or accept but only under a huge list of disruptive demands !!

I heartily agree. The MSM are just a mouthpiece for celebrity PR, there is no such thing as journalism anymore, let alone investigative journalism, I remember the days when newspapers actually had gravitas, now it seems to me they just sit at their desks, wait for some PR puff piece to come in and print it verbatim for their personal favourite royals or celebrities whilst at the same time minimally reporting on the good works of say The Duchess of Edinburgh. It’s the same with the BBC news, Harry’s Australia trip covered as a main story, has Catherine’s trip to Italy been given the same coverage? I doubt it, and they wonder why people are turning away from the MSM and reaching for independent journalists online, the MSM have dug they own graves.

noonames · 14/05/2026 20:45

I really wouldn’t be surprised if he’s being paid for this kind of stuff by powerful people with an agenda to promote. He is good for clicks after all. He is so out of his depth it’s embarrassing. This is exactly why the RF are supposed to separate themselves from both politics and commercial activity. And here is the dipshit duke doing both as if he’s actually a person of influence making a useful contribution.

HoldMyWine · 14/05/2026 20:47

I agree he is someone’s paid mouthpiece .

bluegreygreen · 14/05/2026 21:21

At least someone is pointing out Harry's lack of credentials for speaking on this (or almost any other) subject - pity more of the mainstream papers aren't doing it.

Scorchio84 · 14/05/2026 21:32

The Dipshit Duke 😂😂love it @noonames

My2cents1975 · 14/05/2026 21:11

The Jewish Chronicle in the UK has an opinion on H's antisemitism essay

"But when you have as towering an ego as the Duke of Sussex seems to possess, why let your near-total ignorance of the subject and your lack of any relevant credentials stop you from opining?"

How did we cope without Prince Harry’s wisdom on the Middle East, Anglo-Jewry and Judaism?

Good to see someone pushing back

Swizzled · 14/05/2026 21:42

HoldMyWine · 14/05/2026 21:34

Good to see someone pushing back

And this is exactly who should be pushing back - the people he is impacting and insulting. This is how his wings will be clipped and his credibility crushed even further - when it comes from another community rather than the clamour for the RF to step in - then it just becomes a gossipy family spat - the RF should not get in his way of making a total arse of himself or of the offended/affected community speaking up in their own words.

Lunde · 14/05/2026 21:47

I saw this comment of the Times article about Harry's antisemitism musings and thought "delusions of adequacy" was the perfect way to sum up Harry's attempts to appear relevant to UK current affairs without the requisite knowledge and experience

Although the Jewish Chronicle pp posted is also pretty cutting

PR Disasters chapter 12
Not2identifying · 14/05/2026 21:58

That Jewish Chronicle article is really good.

What a doughnut, Harry is, wading in on such difficult diplomatic issues. I agree with PP about him doing stupid things to deliberately increase his risk profile so he can get UK taxpayers to pay for (even more) protection.

I also agree that the MSM is bafflingly obtuse on this. If Harry is good for clicks, why don't they also publish all this stuff. I'm pretty sure people would click on it!

Lazingsundayafternoon · 14/05/2026 22:00

HoldMyWine · 14/05/2026 20:47

I agree he is someone’s paid mouthpiece .

I wonder who is paying him then?

Lunde · 14/05/2026 22:09

Harry really should keep a low profile on this issue as is really does raise uncomfortable questions about him

...The Nazi uniform pictures and how a 20 year old with such an expensive education who was commissioned as an officer in the British Army - knows so little of history that he didn't understand this was very offensive

...the Bondi beach incident just a few weeks ago while making a memorial visit to the scene of a brutal antisemitic crime that he decided to smack a lifeguard on the backside as a "jolly jape"

...that his blunders into his version of "diplomacy" are going to make it harder to find support and sponsors for the floundering Invictus Games.

HoldMyWine · 14/05/2026 22:10

its been suggested the George Soros Open Society Foundation.
is Harry his useful idiot?

WhatTheActualFeckityFeck · 14/05/2026 22:10

Lazingsundayafternoon · 14/05/2026 22:00

I wonder who is paying him then?

I thought it was well known round these parts that the Soros Foundation is alleged to have paid for H&M trip to Colombia.

George Soros is a very interesting billionaire.

Thedom · 14/05/2026 22:17

Great takedown of Aitch, thanks for posting @My2cents1975

This made me laugh,

“openly and publicly critical of certain state actions.” (And why the coyness about spelling out the word Israel? You think there is another state British Jews are expected to denounce?)”

Harry really is becoming the village idiot.

Kate wraps up her Italy visit with pasta-making class

Not sure if this has been posted?

Apparently she too is a dab hand at home cooking. The difference is I actually believe she may well make her own dough, and make a mess and laugh it off. Maybe she needs her own Netflix show and range of foodstuffs..!

Kate wraps up her Italy visit with pasta-making class

The Princess of Wales made tortelli by hand and visited children at a pioneering nursery on the last day of her solo trip

noonames · 14/05/2026 22:29

And this is the trouble with talentless dipshit dukes floundering around in their own puddle of envy and entitlement, completely devoid of any sense of duty, just doing whatever it takes to provide their awful wives with a lifestyle they cannot afford and which will never be enough. They are so easily seduced by money and flattery, so vulnerable to all sorts of predatory movers and shakers. No wonder the Sussexes never say a word against the Yorks.

Starryfifty · 14/05/2026 22:30

He really is an idiot. The nazi uniform incident was what, 20 years ago. Most people have forgotten but are now reminded. He's beyond stupid

BasiliskStare · 14/05/2026 22:46

And the shilling outfits on Bondi Beach was only last month @Starryfifty

Wow that is a brilliant article!

Starryfifty · 14/05/2026 22:54

H will see his puff piece as a win. It was in the Telegraph and the new statesman. He'll bypass all negative articles

BigWillyLittleTodger · 14/05/2026 23:07

Sykes’ intel is that the Kings cancer treatment has been so successful that he is expected to live out his natural life. If that’s the case, and he is in cahoots with Harry, Sykes thinks there’s every possibility that Harry will be back as a working royal under his father for the next 10 or more years, because his life in California is not making him happy. God help William and Catherine if this is in any way true!

Thanks @Indianrollerbird for the Tom Sykes insight, would Charles really risk alienating not just William but Catherine and the children as well I wonder? We were told Charles “red line” was Camilla, Harry went for Camilla so is Camilla not a red line after all if he lets Harry back in? is Harry more important to him than his wife, his other son, his daughter in law and his 3 grandchildren? These aren’t questions directed to you @Indianrollerbird just my musings!

BasiliskStare · 14/05/2026 23:07

👏 Stephen Pollard. And @My2cents1975 for finding it. I posted this morning I was hoping we would see opinion pieces rather than just reporting the speech and this is a fabulous start.

I'm sure Harry will see the article being reported by other MSM as a win, but it will be when commentary happens that how much of a win (or indeed not) will become clearer
