Definitely didn't help. But I don't think Charles would have mentioned his 'American family' even without Harry's latest witterings. He's barely even seen the kids since they were born and he's likely not spoken to Meghan for years either, so why pretend they're all one happy family?

The reality is that the Sussexes are irrelevant to royal 'business', notwithstanding their desperate attempts to pretend otherwise.

Who knows with Meghan, I don’t think she posted anything about Doria last year on Mother’s Day, didn’t she just post a picture of herself and the back of the kids heads?

I have always assumed that Doria had very firmly told Meghan not to drag her into the public eye. When she appeared briefly to taste a dessert on Instagram she looked really uncomfortable (and also didn't seem to like the dessert!)

I think this is the point, much as Harry may rail against it.

Charles' speech in Washington, the principles of democracy set against the background of the history and continuity of monarchy, referenced previous and future kings and queens.

Re - Doria - they didn't seem to be on the best of terms when WLM was filmed - they snapped at each other during a looking segment and Meghan almost seemed to blank Doria in the finale

That episode was really uncomfortable. Neither seemed that fond of the other and Doria seemed underwhelmed, let's say, by the food. If it had been my show, I'd have wanted either to reshoot it or cut that appearance altogether.

The Kris Jenner card - if someone sent me that I'd be thinking 'are they being sarcastic or what?' It's such a weird message. And not one likely to endear you to your own mother. Which all makes it look like they're not that close right now.

Having a quick look at the hotel mentioned, their largest suite is 209sqm and looks to be charged at around £10k a night. I don’t know how long H&M stayed at the games, but it wouldn’t take many nights there to rack up a bill of $108k, particularly including F&B as well. I also wouldn’t be surprised if they insisted on having a whole floor to themselves for “security” purposes.

Its quite outrageous really.

It's going to be financially ruinous to do all that. Will Harry refuse to come without her? It sounds like someone who doesn't want to come so has set impossible conditions. Or who is completely delusional.

The police aspects of this can't be granted without RAVEC signing them off. That doesn't mean they have to concede to Harry's blanket demands though. They could agree to it for this trip specifically, with the advance notice that could be given. Though doesn't mean they will.

Christ. Why does she think anyone is bothered? I mean, she’s ghastly and all, but I wouldn’t even get out of bed to watch her on the TV. Why does she think anyone would even bother putting their shoes on and traipsing to wherever she is walking about in her unironed outfit to boo at her.

As others have observed - this is someone who doesn’t want to come to the UK and has spent years avoiding it by whipping her husband up into a fantasy frenzy about security. Now it’s looking like she has to come and face up to her actions, she’s making it difficult. Silly cow.

Could Meghan be making outrageous demands because she has no intention of her or the children setting foot in the UK so it gives her a reason to refuse?

This is the obvious answer, isn't it? Make crazy demands about security that no one else has ever needed - who needs 4 floors of a hotel clearing to stay there? There's no way they are doing this anywhere they go, this is just her way of justifying not coming back to the UK ever. After all, if she came and it turned out that NOT having all of these things still resulted in a safe trip, how could she continue to make demands and insist she was being victimised?

The Invictus money situation is intriguing a lot of You Tubers now, especially after that inept TwiX AMA with Paul the 'communcations' guy from Invictus, and some of the comments are interesting.

This one is from the Sidley Twins' most recent 'live'. (I didn't watch is because SS doesn't seem quite right - meds or something - and it was uncomfortable.)

Ask Paul ... Why did Invictus Games Foundation Ltd, London, pay £576,008 to the company over 6 years to .. Plunkett and Murray Ltd .... Because that company is the trading name for ... Reid and Reid Ceremonial and Events Consultants Ltd ... which is owned by Dominic Reid .... So why does Invictus Games Foundation Ltd, state no Board members receive any money in remuneration BUT, Dominic Reid's company gets £576K whilst ostensibly working "Unpaid" for Invictus? Also you can ask ... for £576,008 over 6 years, what services did "Reid and Reid Ceremonial and Events Consultants Ltd" provide for Invictus Games Foundation Ltd?

I don't know if anyone else has heard of this allegation?

There is a lot of conflict of interest interaction between the patron/board's companies that seems like mutual back scratching

Honestly the word salad sounds like something Meghan would write - perhaps she did - 33% reported an increase in "emotional thriving" - whatever that means!

God knows what the Sentebale court action will expose about Harry and his chums.

In other Invictus news, Paul Saunders, the Invictus Digital Communications Manager, has locked down his TwiX account, so all his posts are protected. This means he has hidden his disastrous AMA.

The guy has only 701 followers. One of the 93 people he follows is a massive squadster. It is all so pitifully amateurish.

(The screenshots are everywhere, including the one about participating veterans not having to pay for stuff that many observers suspect they do, in fact, have to pay for.)

No she just wants to cosplay being important over here when actually she’s royally insignificant and unwanted. And if she brings the kids she wants them to believe that too… god knows what theyve told the kids to believe about themselves.

Last year, she posted on insta for the UK Mother’s Day and the US. The UKs was a pic of their ‘family tradition’ pudding. The US a pic of her n the kids- with a gushing post about how much her kids love her:

For someone who’s brand is…my kids come home to a house smelling of jam/ fit my empire building around the school run/my bestie Serena gets her perfect mothering advice from me because I read ALL the books…..its very strange that she never posted anything on either of the days this year.

Feels like something is up.

Totally agree @AtIusvue I was going to post something similar. The inconsistency what’s odd, but even more so when she has her Mother’s Day collection.

nothing on the Asever page either - no stories or UGC even of people enjoying their chocolates or candles (snort). I wonder if anyone bought them?!
