The ongoing dramas from Montecito courtesy of H&M.

I can’t see another thread but I made the same mistake last time …

Harry wants to come over for a "one year to Invictus" fundraising thing and is trying to drum up royal support as fundraising is proving tricky despite the former Tory government giving Invictus Birmingham £26 million.

Sponsors want a royal turnout like 2014 so Harry is desperate to get himself photographed with the royals and (possibly sell) the "reunion" with the King. He attempted to invite himself to Sandringham although he got pretty bluntly rebuffed.

Thanks for the explanation!

Effervescentfrothy · 07/05/2026 03:54

That photo is really very sad.

MyAutumnCrow · 07/05/2026 04:23

Well, this is a slightly nuts article and headline. Is it a piece just fishing around, see what it provokes? More Sunshine Sachs nonsense, H&M nonsense??

The four powerful women who won't let Meghan fail: DOMINIQUE HINES

Meghan Markle is out. Out of the Met Gala. Out of favour in Hollywood. Out of momentum. That, at least, is the current narrative. But the reality is rather different.

The pair of them are just sounding deranged now.

StartupRepair · 07/05/2026 04:30

Space to be themselves. Yet they have already said the Archie will 'inherit ' Invictus and Lili will get As Ever.

Oh Jesus Meghan's autobiography ? Working titles " Me, Me, Me" or "Me As Ever" or "The Diary of Me" .... the Long Walk to Me? The Story of Me. Becoming Me? 😬

In addition the whole article is a clapback by Meghan's team ? again as to why she was not invited to the Met. Gosh it's desperate and embarrassing.

MyAutumnCrow · 07/05/2026 04:43

Just browsing the MailOnline website, and blast from the past Omid Scobie gets a mention. And Gabor Maté!

Prince Archie celebrates his 7th birthday 5,000 miles away from the Royal Family - as expert claims his birth gave Harry and Meghan the 'energy to stand up for what was right for them'

https://www.dailymail.com/news/royals/article-15794357/Prince-Archie-birthday-Meghan-Markle-Prince-Harry.html

I think we’re being reminded that H&M think of themselves as - and have been set up by their PR to be seen as - top parenting experts of the modern age. Don’t listen to Catherine, listen to us!

This article is by Ruth Stainer, updated last night.

More derangement on someone’s part.

Prince Archie celebrates his 7th birthday away from the Royal Family

According to royal biographer Omid Scobie, it was actually Archie that gave the Duke and Duchess of Sussex the courage to leave the Royal Family in the first place.

This is the ‘spiralling’ in action, isn’t it?

Thedom · 07/05/2026 04:46

That’s such an empty sad image, like something people post after a bereavement, loneliness.

While the kids might be standing beside each other, it’s another image where there is no connection between the siblings. I think Montecito family life is very far from idyllic.

ShamedBySiri · 07/05/2026 04:56

Thanks for thread.

Lili in shorts/skort. Archie in long trousers. On a beach. 🙄. Hard luck Archie. No paddling on your birthday.

MyAutumnCrow · 07/05/2026 05:24

What’s going on with Archie’s stick that he’s holding? You can see refraction and change of colour at the bottom. Is it in the water, on the sand? Photoshopped again?

Nice stick though. I love a good stick on a beach. Handy for waving gulls away who are after my lunch.

Does anyone get the sense that Archie isn’t really leaning in or relaxed in that photo? It feels very performative to me.

Empress13 · 07/05/2026 05:59

🥱 who cares ? The photo is pointless she thinks she’s being so clever not showing their faces. Agree it looks depressing unlike the fun smiley photos of the Wales

People exclusive - Harry on parenting

'They give their kids space to be themselves'
https://archive.is/9sHBG

Not sure if we had this already on the previous thread - apologies if so.

So in an article claiming the children are given space to be themselves, we have a photo of them on a freebie Disney trip. Being used in a typical influencer pay off?

PigglyWigglyOhYeah · 07/05/2026 06:29

Meghan missing the point spectacularly as usual. ‘Look at the fantastic location where we live - far superior to manky old Cornwall.’ Unaware that the point of the Wales videos/pics is not a performative show of superiority - ‘We can afford to live here’ - but a window into family life, fun and just generally having a nice, happy time. I don’t think Meghan (or Harry) is capable of having a nice, happy time, which impacts on those around them.

Reading between the lines of that article, there are 4 powerful Hollywood women who are keeping Meghan on side so they can benefit financially from her autobiography. They will encourage her to tell her truth, which will result in massive publicity and a nasty backlash, but they don't care because they want the money. So as long as they aren't as blatant as Oprah was in that interview about storing the pot for cash it will all be fine.

For them. Not sure about Meghan.

Is anyone around them a real friend who has their best interests at heart?

MrsLeonFarrell · 07/05/2026 06:38

I like that birthday photo though. I prefer influencers use backs of head to stickers over children's faces and it's a nice view.

Very true

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 07/05/2026 06:45

Mr Scobie previously told People that both Harry and Meghan had been 'quite afraid of the consequences of stepping away and challenging the system'.

'As we have seen, those consequences have been pretty major,' he added.

From the DM up thread.

Making it clear that the reason they have failed is because of the horrible meanies in the RF who are responsible for everything going wrong.

Flippin’ heck, how much more money do these dreadful people need?

I think if there is a divorce/autobiography - and that’s a big ‘if’ - it’ll be after Meg’s put in 10 years to the marriage, as that alters California divorce settlements in her favour, especially with the kids being still young.

So, after May 2028, watch this space. This also means she can include the 2027 Invictus shambles, the ANL case and Sentebale, and blame it all on ‘H’.

That’s maybe her book title: Blame.

Effervescentfrothy · 07/05/2026 06:47

Their perpetual victimhood is just so tiresome. No gratitude, no genuine joy, just endless grudges , whining and lying. When they try to behave as if they’re happy it’s transparent that it’s all a mirage.

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 07/05/2026 06:48

Lunde · 06/05/2026 22:33

So Meghan has just posted this picture on her Instagram page

.... I wonder which other brother and sister recently posted birthday photos at the beach?

Originality? not

And this is the best example why the faces of the kids won't net them that much.

Sharing images is so easy, it has made MN money not MM.

I shall put the date in the calendar, interesting about California divorce rules.

But even with the book, is there really that much money - Spare sold really well, but I don't think has made much profit (something about PH being upset he only got his advance and not ongoing royalties) so I can't see a publishing house offering as much as PH got.

Plus there is no ongoing value, people read it for the gossip and then off to charity it goes.

Photos without faces are so soulless.

It's pointless. Why just not post pictures of them at all if you claim to want to protect privacy?

If M&H had maintained a position of never posting pictures of the kids on social media that would have been the real flex.

It would have implied: our kids are growing up totally out the public eye unlike the poor Wales kids.

But she couldn't help herself. So we get these soulless little glimpses which both betray the kids privacy whilst pretending to protect them.

It's horribly cynical.

I’m wondering if there’s been a bit of photo shopping - it’s hard to tell as they are in the distance which affects the focus when zooming in. But Lili’s right arm looks odd, it looks as if she’s hanging on/holding hands with Archie. But Archie’s left forearm looks free, flexed forwards as if swinging forward naturally when walking.
