PR Disasters of the The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continued :

• So far we have Meg using charity events/sick children/vulnerable adults to merch her fashion, with the launch of her new fashion platform
• She will be appearing on MasterChef Australia
• Harry claiming to have had therapy when Archie was born, even though he never sought MH help for his ill wife a few short months earlier.

It is awful lighting. The lady next to her looks fine though. To me, she doesn’t look healthy at all.

I normally read the Royal Family stories with detached interest. But fuck me!!!

How the hell dare she? Just after spending a morning get hundreds if not thousands of children (other people’s of course) posted all over social media and MS! Some of those pictures are horrifying. The poor young topless lad with cancer and the video of the young girl who had made them a card. She looks traumatised in the video compared to the still picture.

And as for monetising those photos on the clothes website. I’m aghast. Wonder what the parents think, seeing pics of their ill youngsters on a fashion website page.

I’m sure those pics will go soon, this will not be what those parents signed up for!!

That photo is awful! I’m not one to comment on how old people look, but sadly she is showing age above her years.
the wrinkles are very apparent.
im a fair few years older than Meghan but don’t have as many creases in my face or neck that she seems to.

But on the other hand, if this is how she looks IRL I’d rather see that than the touched up pictures.

Quite @22YearsAndCounting . Breathtaking lack of self awareness. I really do wonder apart from Harry her children , fame and money if she gives a shit about anything. & I'm not always sure about Harry 😂

To me she looks utterly exhausted.

Which makes sense….Jet lag, visiting hospitals, merching outfits worn to hospitals, recording MasterChef, recording the bedtime story for Lily and Archie, writing the evening email to Lili and Archie….it takes its toll!!!

Thanks Basilisk I see what you all mean, not the greatest photo. She usually has quite a glow. I'd say I look younger at the same age, but I put that down to retaining my puppy fat!

Is it true that the Wales’s have an official Royal trip to Australia scheduled for later this year?
I can’t find any confirmation but it has definitely been talked about.
No wonder H&M leapt into action to get there first.
I bet if W&C are coming a trip to the hospital that The Queen opened would have been scheduled but I don’t see how they could possibly do this now.
Hopefully men in grey suits or PR people will have noted the outrage about wheeling out sick children, of course that isn’t W&C’s style but there would have to be a massive rethink of how visits to children’s hospitals are managed after this.
Anyway however they did it H&M got there first and it would really take the steam out of their visit to be seen following in the footsteps of non-royal little brother. Even the obligatory sail around Sydney harbour - H&M got there first.

If there are plans I think they should ditch them, maybe go next year.

They were invited when the Prime Minister of Australia met the King and Prince of Wales at Balmoral (I think in September?).
I haven't seen any dates confirmed since, and of course the timing would depend on FCO planning.

The Sussexes first announced their plans to visit Australia in November.

If they didn't have form for constantly having to one up royal family members then it could be put down to coincidence but given their history, I think it was certainly an intentional attempt to "get in there first". So petty. Do they really not have anything better to do with their lives than constantly try and stick it to their family? Maybe they should try spending time with their children or something

I think Royal Tours are planned way in advance so I'm not so W&C could necessarily just delay for a year. Also if I were them I wouldn't be too bothered by little bro's jaunt. It's had a fair bit of flack ( not unanimously , granted ). If they do visit a hospital I suspect there will be a bit of "& that , H&M. , is how it's done" comparison.
But I genuinely don't know if one is scheduled.
