PR Disasters of the The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continued :

• So far we have Meg using charity events/sick children/vulnerable adults to merch her fashion, with the launch of her new fashion platform
• She will be appearing on MasterChef Australia
• Harry claiming to have had therapy when Archie was born, even though he never sought MH help for his ill wife a few short months earlier.

A very small market. If Duchy did the the equivalent (which they wouldn't) for Prince George etc, it would be the likes of the sycophants who turn up in Sandringham to doff their caps on Christmas Day.
I wouldn't spend £50 on a candle, but if I did it would be named Fig or Geranium. It wouldn't be named after someone else's child 😵‍💫

I've just seen a better photo of the candle. Tbh even if it smelled nice I wouldn't
spend that much on it because the container looks really cheap and unattractive. Also , a lot of candles smell of almost nothing once they're lit. It's a high price point for an unknown brand. Diptych - yes v expensive but very widely accepted to be good quality.

What was with the wickless candles she did ?? Or was that a faulty batch ?

well it’s official! , I have not made comments about her merching the children through candles because I seriously thought it would not happen and it was pr nonsense from people mag ! I was wrong!

It’s just so hard to compute they would stoop this low.

I couldn't see the kids candles on IG, but I don't really use it.

Introducing two new candles beautifully crafted by our founder and named in honor of her children's birthdates. No. 604 named for Princess Lilibet's birthdate, is floral and radiant with notes of amber, water lily, and santal. No.506, named for Prince Archie's birthdate, is warm and grounding with notes of ginger, neroli, and cashmere.

Interesting.

I don't think of amber and santal as floral - but I do think of neroli as that.

And this is probably me being mean, but notes of cashmere makes me think of goat.

It’s funny, I noticed that and also she has blocked the view numbers on her instagram reels. The view numbers were declining, I had a look a while ago and it was a steady decline, so now the views are blocked as that was the proof of the declining interest.

Its all very odd. Cashmere is not somthing I would associate with a smell or am I wrong?
