I have yet to see a veteran in uniform at any Remembrance Parade. They are not allowed to wear the uniform after they leave service at all, never ever, not once. A blazer, a pair of trousers/chinos and a Regimental tie is not their Service uniform.
Please post a photo of all these veterans at Remembrance Parades in their uniform please.

The uniform q: possibly a mis-communication? I know at the biggest Remembrance Parade near me that the crowd and press refer to veterans being in ‘uniform’ marching past, when the case is that they are in Royal British Legion (or RBL approved) dress code, with original caps & cap badges, and service medals.

They certainly look smart and military, and well-drilled.

Official royal visitors would be met at the airport (not by a commercial meet and greet service which anyone can get if they have the cash), have meetings with government figures, a formal evening reception, possibly stay in a consulate residence and so on. By contrast, this 'tour' is just a hodge podge of random 'charity' visits and money making events.

Obviously they are trying to make it seem like a 'royal tour' but it just highlights how it's really nothing of the sort. And as I said above, the irony is that these days genuine royal tours are becoming more focussed and businesslike, so this 'tour', looks old fashioned as well as rather silly.
