I remember when my kids were that little. I hated to be away from them. These two spend a lot of time away from their very young children

What is your source for this?
Or could it be pure speculation 🤔

no point reall. if i must....then

that its curious who Masterchef AU gets, esp the non chef guests.

I wonder if she will make roast chicken to remind us thats its what "my husband cooked the day he proposed" or her famous lemon cake. I wonder what flower sprinkles she will use and how much of her merch will feature.

in any case, kudos to them : they keep trying

For some reason, I am thinking of this post read out by Morgan Freeman, while he's riding on the bus in the penultimate scene of the Shawshank Redemption.

Didn’t Meghan report something similar about Archie worrying she works too hard?

Sounds like the little kids are being indoctrinated to believe their absences are because they have to work. If Harry and Meghan are not lying about the worries of their kids (always a possibility) then seems to be a very sad and dysfunctional life for their son and daughter.

What a screwed up little family they're creating. Archie sounds like a real worrier type of child, and instead of alleviating this, they're feeding it by telling him how hard they have to work and that's why they regularly abandon him for days at a time with just nannies and maybe the GM to care for them. It sounds like they're letting Archie (and us) know they're pretty resentful of having to work at all, and feel very hard done to due to the (perceived) lack of funds, and having to regularly shill for cash. Harry is basically never, ever going to get over his decision to leave the RF, because it's not a happy place he's in - and his kids are having to suffer for his messed up MH.

I'm sure they are being indoctrinated into all sorts. Can you imagine what they are being told about the royal family, the UK and how the world is unsafe because everyone is out to get them? They seem to lead an extremely cloistered life where they don't go anywhere that is open to the general public, especially not with their parents. The only time I recall seeing some photos of them with h&m partaking in normal life was a few years ago at a 4th of July parade.

Honestly it just occured to me that its a bit like how michael jackson was with his kids when they were young with the private theme park visits, telling them how persecuted he was, not letting people see their faces etc. Beyond bizarre.

Oh excellent! Hello what an extremely old blast from the past ! , your chums sadly are missing.
anything constructive to add to the thread apart from lofty moralism at posters who don’t know you?

I miss those dupe threads. Right now, we could be learning how to dress like a giant jacket potato at a fraction of the price.

For just 20 packs of contraband cigarettes, you too could own a jar of As Ever spread in a keepsake box. Use the box to hide your precious stone pick in next time the wardens turn your cell over.

Papercompany · 15/04/2026 22:42

Just listened to that little clip of Harry....Jesus - he's like a Dad you meet at the side of the football field and then avoid forever after. I've never heard a parent say their child cries when they come home as they have picked up on their stress? And I would think it was odd if a parent said this? I reckon they see those kids as extensions of themselves. Can't believe anyone would pay Harry for his....advice? Thought? His nuggets of wisdom?!

I think Harry & Megan just want their kids to be thought of as empathetic and emotionally in tune. They just spout constant bullshit about them. I bet those kids are completely normal and have never said any of the "wise words" their parents have attributed to them. Hopefully their nannies are kind, fun and sane.

Treylime · 15/04/2026 22:54

Didn't he say Archies first word was crocodile?
Everything he says is bullshit.

WeightLossGoal2024 · 15/04/2026 23:03

Why did the Masterchef announcement call her “Markle” after she said that wasn’t her name? Thus confuses me? Or is that so she can deny approving being introduced as “Royalty”?

Perhaps Archie cries when H (& maybe M) comes home as he knows the nanny will be going off duty and he'll be stuck with H.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 15/04/2026 23:25

Perhaps he cries because he’s thinking who the hell is this man? 😂

The clue is in the name!!! Mumsnet ! The majority on here have or had children, those who are child free don’t tend to lecture or question mothers about something as basic as whether leaving your children home alone constantly is a sterling parenting move! ( hint it’s not!) you are either a very unsuitable parent or someone without children who is arguing for the sake of it!!

Generally children cry when the parents leave! Not when they return, I make no further comment! ( you deserve no such familiarity or notice! 😉)
