Another new story on Andrew today. Photo's have emerged showing that on Epstein's desk, there were emails regarding Epstein paying debts owed by Andrew/Sarah to staff:

Why on Earth was a Prince of England having his staff paid by a sex trafficker?
Doesn't seem "too honourable" to me.

Epstein Had Emails from Staff of Ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson on His Desk in Newly Shared Photos

New photos from Jeffrey Epstein's New York home appear to show an email exchange between former staffers for ex-Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.

The only people I do feel sorry for are Beatrice and Eugenie, who have to live their lives knowing the world knows just how awful their parents are.

The 'blood princesses' are demonstrably complicit in their parents' awfulness.

I disagree with this. The Queen was refreshing in that she didn’t pander to social media trends - she was above it all. You’d never see her making videos like Kate’s recent nature film for example, which drew a lot of criticism. She simply got on with the job and was all about service. If people see that as old-fashioned and “not moving with the times” then it’s a shame as those are good qualities that many other people hugely respected!

Times they are a-changing (in the words of Bob Dylan)

You cannot run a business (which is what the Monarchy is in some way) like it was in the 50s when QE2 came to the throne.

They need to sack off some of these old courtiers who haven't moved with the times!

It’s unlikely that Andrew will ever face charges in a criminal court.

For a case to proceed in the UK it would have to be something that happened in the UK that could be proved to a strong enough level to bring to a court of law. Verifiable evidence and strong witnesses.

For a case to proceed in the US it would have to focus on many more people than Andrew - that comes with the same issues as the UK case - you can start with what’s in the Epstein files but without verifiable back up evidence and strong witnesses it will never make it to a courtroom.

Consider the wealth and power of the Americans who are implicated - their lawyers combined could keep any prosecution tied up and delayed for years, possibly decades.

I’m also not sure there’s going to be a viable legal process at all in the US for a long time after Trump gets done. It’s a very dark time.

I include Anne in that.

Anne has demonstrated her support for MW and is said to feel he's being harshly treated.

She's as vile and entitled as the rest but (like her venal kids) seems inexplicably to get a pass.

Apparently she, like her father, doesn't suffer fools, which has always to me seemed like a polite way to say they were bloody rude when they wanted to be! And there's one fool they've all consistently suffered over the years...

AmplePlayer · 31/01/2026 21:23

GM is testifying before a US congressional committee in ten days time on the condition (i think) that's she's immune from prosecution for anything that she disclosed, she's also tried many times to get her 20 year sentence set aside / reduced over the past few months and been told that she can't appeal again.
So there could be more to come...Nothing for her to lose but possibly something she could gain.

AreYouSureAskedNaomi · 31/01/2026 21:26

Urgh brace yourselves for whatever she has to say

I have always said that woman would sing like a flock of canaries to reduce her jail time.

She's already succeeded in having her quarters significantly downgraded to a low security institution.

I think she'll walk in the not too distant future.

I think the HRH finally went for a burton late last year in a Letter Patent published in the London Gazette; but he is still technically a Counsellor of State and, of course, in the line of succession (8th). Grim.

Correct.

Altering the line of succession would require parliamentary time in 16 countries - probably not justifiable unless it actually became likely that he might inherit.

I agree.
And I think she'll try and portray herself as just as much of a victim of Jeffery Epstein as Virginia Giuffre and all the other poor women who suffered so much at his (and her) hands.

I hope I'll be proven wrong but I've got a feeling I won't.

I felt that was just a bit of fun for the platinum jubilee celebrations. But for all those who have criticized her for not moving with the times, that was perhaps an example of her doing just that?

MidWayThruJanuary · 31/01/2026 18:42

Only by force of public pressure @Rhaidimiddim

But the statement, when it came, was strong.

I don't know what those calling for further statements from the RF as each further Epstein file is released actually expect the RF to say.

I am not someone who usually gets a kick out of someone else's misery but I do raise a wry smile every time I see a story about Sarah's dramatic hysterics over having to leave a mansion she's lived in rent free for decades and slum in it a smaller house that she'll need to pay for herself!

Very telling that neither of her daughters are willing to take her in too.

Genuinely agog that she wrong JE an email whilst he was in prison telling him how proud she was of him. Proud of what exactly? Being a nonce?!

Women like her will do anything for a cushy life.
Parasites.

Agreed, Cathy, though we don't yet know just how complicit

However at the rate things are going I have hopes that this too will come out

In the meantime, though it's not my view I've every respect for constitutional monarchists, but quite how anyone can remain an actual royalist defeats me

Rhaidimiddim · 31/01/2026 22:13

TheHaplessWit · 31/01/2026 19:06

The man paid off a victim of sexual abuse (rather than try to prove innocence), lied in a BBC interview (when he said he'd cut contact but emails prove otherwise) and you think moving him to a slightly smaller mansion ("downgraded his accommodation significantly") counts as sufficient punishment???

If any member of the public had done what he's done then they'd be in jail, he should be too.

If any member of the public had donecwhat he had done I'd like to see it proven in a court of law before they were jailed. And we all know how often the man in the street gets away with stuff like this.

I was not giving my opinion on whether the sanctions the RF has visited on him was sufficient punishment; I was addressing posters' complaints that the RF hadn't made a statement, by pointing out that they had.

I agree. Despite my vocals about the Monarchy, I know they are not going anywhere so that probably makes me a constitutional monarchist!

It's the Royalists that do my 'ead in. We can't criticise anyone in the royal family, particularly Kate, William, Anne...well, all of them really. Why not? They're not perfect despite their 'efforts'. They should be open to criticism, they should be open to what the people think

And the James Bond thingie before that. I wonderif it was Philip who insisted on all the 1950s stuff, despite being positioned as a moderniser because he liked boys-toys techology.

To use the popular word, optics . I think for many people ( myself included) the fact that AMW is still in the LOS looks bad . No matter how unlikely it is that he would inherit the Throne , it would be a lot tidier if he was removed .
Similarly , I think that he and Harry should be removed as COS .

MidWayThruJanuary · 31/01/2026 22:43

And Beatrice

EsmaCannonball · 31/01/2026 23:09

I've just seen the email where Epstein tells a redacted person that he 'enjoyed the torture video.' The unnamed person is in China but will be travelling to the US. It is unclear whether the person is based in China or just visiting that country.

There are people who pay to watch women, children and animals be tortured on the dark web. There was a case a few years ago of a man in the Philippines sexually abusing and murdering children for paying subscribers.

All the worst things said about Epstein seem to be trickling out as truth. Where did his money come from and how did he get so much influence? What happened to children on that island? Why are names still being redacted?

Given that nobodies on social media have been talking about this stuff for at least a couple of decades, I really do not believe any of his rich and famous hangers-on who claim they had no idea of what he was about.

EsmaCannonball · 31/01/2026 23:13

As for Beatrice and Eugenie, they are both well into their thirties and clearly as into taking 'jobs' and perks from dubious associations as their awful parents.
