So Meghan lost her fathers number but is ringing round hospitals and will send a handwritten note, as per Sussex sources speaking through the Sun, the Telegraph and the Times.

I mean I have no idea, how it works with PR for very famous people, but surely there are scenarios they prep for?

Her dad is in his 80s, severely obese and has suffered ill health for years. You would think, there would be protocol in what to do should the worst happen.

That would include having up to date contact info. This isn’t something Meg would need to have/get involved with if she’s estranged, but surely ‘The Office of the DDOS’ would. Then engage in their set plan- whether that’s a public statement that this is a private affair or that contact has been made through the proper channels.

Whatever this is, it isn’t professional-it’s complete chaos.

I wonder how much they spend in a typical month?

And when we add up the other staff: security, cleaner, groom for the polo ponies, raspberry pickers, raspberry packers, nannies...

They are bound to be contractors, not employees (assuming that distinction applies in Californian law as it does in many other legal systems) so that the rules round employees don’t apply.

Meredith AND Method communications is gone!!!! Not even a full year!!!

I mean there’s been rumours for weeks. They don’t follow advice and the PR has been awful.

I think it’s a combination of them having deep financial issues and the absolute insanely bad ways the PR has been handled.

I find it interesting that people are still prepared to take their PR on. Surely it isn't that prestigious a role?

She has been their absolute worst PR person so far, wonder if she jumped ship or was pushed.

So their personal team that lost 6 members in the summer..to be replaced by Meredith and the method communications them. Now they have gone.

Its also very obvious they are having financial issues.

The foundation closing and letting go of staff, so that a sponsor covers the costs under a new model.

They also let go of Archewell productions staff in the summer too, when the NF deal ended.

Method communications was just 7 months. After they let go of their own PR staff-method were to replace them.

I wonder when Meredith actually left. Because there’s been rumours for months that she quit and the whole issue with her dad, it was clear no professional PR person was running the show - with all the ‘he said, she said ….go check your emails’ nonsense.

So Meredith started March and could have been gone by October ….so six months.

Someone posted a blind gossip on here a few weeks ago that she had quit, and rumours on X for a while that more staff had quietly departed. She is probably gone a few weeks, speculation is it’s since the Kardashian photo fiasco, which would explain the even bigger fiasco with her father.

I just don’t understand why they need all these staff. They are two people doing very little of any significance at all . Can’t they manage their own affairs? Who are the new agency they’ve employed then?

I don't see how doing entrepreneur stuff and philanthropy can easily be combined into one role, given how one is taxed and the other is a 501(c) tax free thing.

Seems rather fuzzy to me, and that it should be 2 separate offices ?

Remember, Trumps charity foundation was closed down for this very thing.

Meredith trying to keep it professional through gritted teeth, in the hope of retaining some credibility. Still lying though, she was only working for them for 9 months or possibly less.
