Here's a summary for you - it's full of British traditions like cracker pulling which she explains 🙄 , how to decorate a tree with lights and wearing matching pyjamas with her friends. Harry appears for the last 5 mins.

Oh dear they really are quite ignorant and absurd aren’t they! 😂 I’m sure the ‘squad’ are specifically chosen for their lack of intellect.

You're right, Bunny.
You only need to have a look at their basic lack of knowledge about what a Constitutional Monarchy is, and how Parliament functions.
One poster claimed that Charles was "omnipotent" and would not be disabused of this wild notion.
The conversation went back and forth. Alas, to no avail.

According to Sussex fans, she stole the Victoria sponge idea from Meghan 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

That Victoria Sponge hoo ha was very funny.

On a U.S. forum I saw great outrage expressed about the fiendish Mary Berry nicking poor Meghan's cake recipe and all agreed that it was Catherine who had put her up to it.

However one brave poster pointed out that the Victoria Sponge had been a feature of British afternoon teas for many years before Meghan was even born and that in fact it had been named after Queen Victoria.

This earned the retort:- “Well I don't know who that Victoria gal is and I don't WANNA know”

Dear MN, we need the laugh reaction back, please!! 😂😂😂
What a bunch of utter muppets the Sussex Squad are!

Brilliant! Yes, that's their level 😄

He’s an embarrassment that Harry. Absolutely cringy.
My new year resolution is to ignore everything they say and do. I do try as it is but they keep all on.

I wonder what they really meant 🫤😂

They did actually mean that! I assumed it was just the wrong word. She was absolutely insistent and repeated it.
Various people tried to suggest that she was wrong, but she had none of it!
It was really quite extraordinary.....it does show the problem is, though!

Meanwhile the Wales family have hosted the Carol Service earlier this evening . The children look so grown up now.

They’re all so tall

MissFenellaPrism · 05/12/2025 20:05

Classy. Very smart and appropriate.

meghansturkey · 05/12/2025 20:57

Catherine's hair looked super shiny. People always seem so happy to engage with her. Unfortunately I can't post a photo for some reason.

😍

Catherine’s coat is swoon worthy and I love her snowflake earrings. She looks stunning, as usual!

And the kids look lovely too, they’re such a photogenic family.

ThePoshUns · 05/12/2025 21:08

They're gorgeous. She's absolutely glowing and the whole family look lovely.

Headlines of Meghan reaching out to her father at the exact same time the Wales family are front page. Colour me cynical

Mymanyellow · 05/12/2025 21:14

I saw a flash of tartan under her coat. Wish we could see what she’s wearing underneath. Hope Princess Charlotte wasn’t cold. Lovely family and yes so tall.

It's highly unlikely they'd allow their child to be cold!

Mymanyellow · 05/12/2025 21:36

No I know got out of a warm car and straight in the abbey. Ignore me I’m a chilly one.

How? Cocolate and raspberry is a very well established flavour combination. What would you rather it were called? Jam? Conserve?

Chocolate and raspberries, yes. The tangy taste of the raspberries pairs very well with the chocolate. Raspberry spread, not so much. All that added sugar completely take away the reason why the combination works!

It’s a given that the MWs of Montecito will try to upstage Catherine and William every time they are in the news. The only unknown is how.

That will never happen because C&W ooze class which the other two will never have.

I've never understood peanut butter and jam (jelly) though so perhaps it's just a taste bud thing? M&S have gone overboard on putting marmite in stuff this year - they've got a spread with marmite and caramel (I've bought one for adult daughter to be the official taster).

JSMill · 06/12/2025 08:54

I really love that Catherine has started this tradition. She brings so many different people together, many ordinary people who have made a difference and the event celebrates the things that really matter in life.
