Online, people are pointing out that a very expensive cashmere jumper that Meg wore on suits, also made its way to her wardrobe

It’s been nothing but PR disasters of late.

What I have noticed which is curious - is that the UK tabloids are not running with P6 story about the dress. Just like they avoided talking about the NY car chase. They only reported on the media frenzy. But, we know Harry sent out some sort of memo not to publish photos etc. None of the UK press did. Now Meg has acknowledged the stolen dress story and released an official refute ….and none of the UK press are even reporting on that?

That’s weird. They will literally print any old Meg story to get clicks…..but not this one???

The articles on this issue are mainly American.

You could be right, maybe next time Catherine could pick up a few Archewell hats and aprons to ‘donate’, very useful for those in need of food.

It’s quite possible and actually highly likely that any donations would have been sent in advance.
Or were you expecting to see her hoiking a couple of full ‘bags for life’ out of the boot of the car!.

I would expect the staging to be the same because it's part of her brand identity. Most shops look the same from branch to branch. The fact there is less stock is a not strange, i would expect her to sell more here than in a book shop.

This isn't actually accurate, there have been stories in the press about Catherine donating to food banks, and baby banks she has visited. They also donated to a Southwark food bank that was burgled.

Whilst I don't think Meghan and Harry should be criticised for making this visit, or whether or not their children have hair tied back or are standing on stools, I also don't think they need to be defended with inaccurate information.

Maybe the poster would prefer not to use the PofW’s first name? I try not to as well. I particularly dislike Kate-there is as far as I know no suggestion that she ever uses that short form. Alternatively, she could be suggesting that she is a cyborg lizard person and Catherine is her human name…

On Instagram, recent pictures show that the stock at Godmothers isn’t upstairs displayed anymore.

Also, the tiered silver tray looks vintage. It’s hard to get multiples of these things.

So she is moving it around from one venue to another. It's like a tupperware party, but for spread and dead flowers.

She could have taken some jam and sprinkles at least to elevate their lives.

They’re perfectly free not to use it and refer to her as the PoW if they want. Using “Catherine” with quote marks is weird though, doesn’t usually denote a reluctance to use a word. So I’m curious why they did that.

Yes, I thinks she’s moving about the stock.

I suppose, it’s not really to sell. As such little stock isn’t going to bring in the money. She’s lucky if half the stock shifted at Godmothers. I say closer to a third.

But, is all about the connections she’s making to try and make her product look prestige (even though it’s white label crap).

She isn’t going to sell anything at Soho- if you’re paying thousands a year for membership - then you’re eating high end foods. Not white label products produced by a fandom website business.

Shes trying to get her fans to think they are like the clientele of Godmothers, Soho house- exclusive member clubs.

I understand that her friend got her into Godmothers. But a brand like Soho, letting her use them to sell her Tupperware party crap. Marcus must have a lot of clout.

I thought Soho with its new shareholders were trying to make the place more exclusive- this is the complete opposite. A member hawking her candles and jam….not a good look.

Yes @AtIusvueit reminds me of the women who used to come into the golf club with their jewellery stalls to catch the Zumba classes .

I thought he friend Markus Anderson was connected with Soho House. I'd assumed he was the person who got her the space.

Well , I think she is trying go with her story of prestige outlets. So , very handy to have Godmothers and Soho House. Maybe she is as good friends with Markus as the fashion show showed and he's doing her a favour. It elevates the brand but even if she sells out the table full I'm sure she's more in it for sign ups to regular deliveries , PR etc etc. Anyway - not being in that business I simply don't know.

I like Kate as a name and had a friend who named her daughter Katie off the bat - short for nothing because it was a nice name. But by and large it is respectful to call people by the name they prefer to go by. I can understand the tabloids use Kate ( fewer letters) in the same way they use Liz for Elizabeth Hurley - who I believe goes by Elizabeth . But given it is often used I can see people using it.

I love Kate as a name-but mine is short for what I consider to be the ugliest possible “long” form which I hate. So I’m a bit sensitive about people-even the RF- having their preferred name.

Then they should know their volunteers are violating a health code. Just because someone has to get Thanksgiving meals from a charity doesn't mean that they deserve to get a food- bourne illness due to poor hygiene. Many of those people don't have health insurance. Do you really want them to get food poisoning and end up in a hospital for a photo op?

It’s so disrespectful to call someone a name they don’t want . She has made it clear she prefers Catherine . Is that so hard to understand ?
Meghan is very disrespectful to the RF ( your grandmother , your brother etc) and even in their “ message of support “ to the PoW, they called her Kate .
And yet Meghan is announced to an empty room and is damn sure that no one forgets she is a Duchess .
