She's a beautiful woman but i can't understand why she just doesn't drop the titles and be herself. And it's odd how she talks about how much 'H' loves her but not how much she loves him.

Can you imagine the information boards at the exhibition of Meghan’s clothes:

Sorry, am way behind on the thread so commenting as I go along.

The American agents and PRs and publicists and so forth did an excellent job - but their job wasn't and still isn't to help Harry and Meghan to cultivate a public persona with a view to longevity, or an unassailable high profile reputation, or public high regard. Their job is to earn commissions for themselves. They were falling over themselves to get close to H&M because they had $$$ in their eyes. For the likes of Oprah it wouldn't have been so much the money as access and reputation.

I'm pretty sure Harry just followed Meghan into this, thinking these "men in grey suits" would look after his best interests in the same way as all the other men in grey suits in his life, who did have his best interests at hear insofar as they aligned with the RF's best interests. I'm pretty sure it came as a shock to him that these people were making money off him AND that he would need to be indebted to them (rather than vice versa) given they're effectively the gatekeepers to his financial future.

They have sixteen bathrooms in the Montecito Mansion. They can dedicate three or four bathrooms to the clothes archive. The dresses can be hung from the shower curtain rods, and the shoes stored in the showers or tubs.

Worse, using the excuse of "but I'm a royal!" to defend this sort of shifty behaviour is EXACTLY the sort of reason why titles should/will be removed.

Honestly, it makes no sense at all that their children be a prince and princess: it would come as such a shock to hear them speak, even (I would know as I'm shocked every time I hear my American DC speak!), let alone for them to have less than no knowledge of the language, culture, values, mores, traditions etc of the country they purport to be a prince and princess of. It also makes no sense that a woman who so unapologetically rejects both the RF and the country should carry a title, especially when by her actions she insists on diminishing its value. Harry, I'm less sure of: his childhood was blighted by being Charles and Diana's second born son, I'm quite happy to concede that. Andrew MW is proof that nothing is immutable, but he's on a completely different level. I don't know what William would do re Harry. I would imagine conversations would have to be had to figure out how compatible his plans for his future are with remaining a holder of titles. Perhaps he'll remain Prince Harry and Meghan will have no titles, not even Princess Henry of Sussex. Just because it hasn't been done before doesn't mean it can't be done a first time.

Who in the name of God almighty needs 16 bathrooms ?

Also, just on this dress and this excuse: she wore this for the The Cut interview, which happened well after Megxit. She's living in cloud cuckoo land if she thinks the RF is in any way interested in archiving this dress for the country's future benefit as a memory of what royal women wore in the first decades of the 21st century 😂

She honestly, truly thinks she's still royal. Not just because of Harry and her children being princes and a princess; not just as evidenced by her use of HRH on her stationery and on her suitcases etc; I think she genuinely, actually thinks she's still a royal member of the British RF. The whole of the rest of the world, apart from people who want access to Harry or who want to make money off of her (and even they know it, they just don't say it) know that she's just a TV actress who married Harry however many years ago but not actual royalty. Just like Jack Brooksbank isn't royal (and doesn't pretend to be). But I really do think she's delusional enough to think she's royal - like "blood" royal.

Thete is one dress - full length, grey, tweedy looking, shoulderless - which was in The Cut photoshoot that she was later seen eearibg out.

By that logic everything she ever wore in a photoshoot would be given to her or purchased. Not to mention there's always tonnes of extra shoes, bags, and clothes so it would cost hundreds of thousands, and would be pre arranged.

Well , on the Bathroom thing @Dollymylove , I believe in the US when listing property a loo counts as a bathroom (half bathroom) . So - 8 bedrooms ( forgotten how many they have , some with ensuite , downstairs loo , or a couple , bathroom not attached to a bedroom , loo upstairs likewise bathroom in the guest cottage , loos in the pool room - I can see it getting to 16 but whether most of them are ever used - no idea.

But 😂 and 👏for your idea @BemusedAmerican . I am sure she has a vast dressing room as well. Could mayhap stick a few jars of honey in a couple of the baths with some baskets for impromptu guests.

Now - where do I buy tickets? We could have a group outing! Boy, how we’d hoot. Perhaps there could be a section - like in some museums- with some dressing-up clothes so people could re-enact the marching in the playsuit and flip-flops…. (although I wouldn’t be able to squeeze one meaty calf into M’s clothes).

She's living life beyond her wildest dreams ( pre Harry ) . & she does have more front than Blackpool. But even she must see that being given clothes to wear from a designer who needs the exposure is not the same as just taking stuff home from a shoot. Now did she ? (Reitman's I think well documented ) or was she told she could take them or did she take them knowing probably no-one would kick up a fuss ? I don't know. But if would know if she were actually royal she would need to pay for them.
