🤣 nope!

I understand exactly what is going on - it’s not difficult. Dragging a woman’s dress sense & trawling through images for traces of her underwear is hardly sophisticated.

Yes it’s normally Meghans ( and Harry’s to a lesser extent) publication of choice when wishing to leak a story! But as you say it’s a celebrity magazine, I’m wondering if the Kardashian’s bring in more revenue so if it’s a choice between them and h and m ? They made the choice 🤔

No celebrity publication would ever want to fall foul of the Kardashian Jenner machine. The Sussexes can't compare.

Thedom · 13/11/2025 18:25

if you look at some of the photos on Page Six, there are multiple photographers there with massive cameras, no one was going to Kris Jenner’s multimillion pound birthday celebration and expect not to be photographed or video’d.

Meghan wore more glamorous outfits in the rented kitchen of the Netflix show, than the outfit she wore to the event.

My thoughts exactly @IcedPurple!
of course it could be as has been said, just a pr exercise to keep the focus on both parties! , nothing generates clicks faster than a supposed fued ?!

She seems incapable of dressing appropriately for the occasion. She’s either overdressed or underdressed. Why doesn’t she hire a stylist?! I would if I had the money.

That's the bizarre thing for me.

Meghan has a history of overdressing for events. Yet for a party where it would be pretty much impossible to be overdressed, she wears mismatched black separates which resemble a thermal top and an underslip. Very strange.

That's still my working theory!

Social media moves on very quickly. The party would already be ancient history were it not for this 'feud' over the photos. Now it's been given a new lease of life in the celeb gossip headlines. That's how it works.

Indeed! And it’s worked! Here we all are discussing a party ( and I’m assuming here !) that I doubt either of us was particularly interested in to start with! 🤷‍♀️

stillavid · 13/11/2025 18:56

It is so odd. I mean one would assume that there would be a lot of photos at Kris Jenner's party - shy and retiring she is not.

I wish Meg would lose the slick back and wear more flattering clothes - she is very beautiful and can look amazing but sometimes her outfits are just a little off. I am a similar shape to her and it can be tricky - but that dress she wore for the infamous car chase in NY looked amazing on her. If I was her I would have worn something similar and all the jewels! Although I am not sure how many jewels she has. You see I am so shallow that access to the RF jewels would have kept me in ;)

theogdiva · 13/11/2025 19:02

All this photos bullshit i.e. the posting, deleting, signed consent forms, no consent forms - it’s all for the drama! It’s the kardashians, harry and meghan so it means it’s probably all just a performance for their reality show. Like we saw with meghan and gwyneth, they or maybe just meg, will probably appear in a couple episodes where they 'hash it out' and then 'make up’. Kris’ party was days ago, yet it and the sussex’s are still showbiz news. Whatever you think of the kardashians they are savvy when it comes to business and attention!

Maybe Balenciaga paid her to wear the outfit ? Or maybe Meghan just likes expensive, designer outfits ? I know a woman who will only wear a particular label regardless of how much it suits her .

Lifestooshort71 · 13/11/2025 19:13

I've no idea what happened re the posting abd then deleting photos but I do know that I have, on occasion, been dressed inappropriately for an event (usually underglammed) and could have kicked myself at the time. I'd have been totally mortified if my poor choice was then heavily criticised/torn apart by others so I am uncomfortable with it happening on here.

Mylovelygreendress · 13/11/2025 19:17

The thing is @Lifestooshort71, Meghan has a tendency to be inappropriately dressed ( Jamaica?) . It can happen to anyone but Meghan has aides and advisors so either they are rubbish or she doesn’t listen .

Meghan has made a commodity of her 'style' by setting up her own 'Shop My' page where you can purchase from "A handpicked and curated collection of the things I love".

The page is now empty but it's still online.

https://shopmy.us/shop/ms?tab=collections

She also chose to attend an event where she knew very well photographers would be present, so it's not like she was 'papped' attending a private party.

Having your fashion choices 'torn apart', to use the favoured melodramatic phrasing, is part and parcel of the shallow world she has enthusiastically chosen to live in.

Absolutely this. She's chosen to promote herself, and make money from, her "style".
That's who she is. If folks think she doesn't look good in certain outfits - that's fair enough!

It's very peculiar, isn't it? When she was a working royal, she often looked very elegant and chic. She wore bespoke couture from Givenchy, Dior etc, paid for by KC.
I'm sure she could rewear some of that? It would look miles better than some of these recent outfits.

She wore a lot of different stuff when she was a working royal?

Do you promote your style? Do you make money from a clothing range, is that who you are?
If you're an ordinary woman making mistakes, fair enough. If you're a celebrity promoting your "style", like she is, that's different.

Exactly.

It's not like you or I misjudging the dress code at an event and having folks bitch about it.

It's about a public figure who goes out of her way to be photographed at fashion shows and parties where the outfits of the female guests will be the main topic of conversation. She was probably given that outfit for free in order to be photographed in it. The flip side of all that ostentatious wealth and glamour is that the great unwashed get to have opinions on your dreary outfit.

MadeInGrimsby · 13/11/2025 19:39

I was thinking about Victoria Beckham at David's investiture - she looked very stylish. I would certainly have judged her if she didn't! Less so David's Mum, because she's not a celebrity self promoting a fashion line.

jeffgoldblum · 13/11/2025 20:13

I normally don’t care about clothes ( as I’ve said previously) but it’s difficult to ignore the complete back to front choices Meghan makes often!
just some examples…. a black formal ball gown for wandering about her house…. A black strapless ball gown to go to the cinema….. a black turtleneck and skirt to go to a uber glam Hollywood party! 🤷‍♀️

I wonder if the invitation had a blanket statement warning that attendees might be photographed and put on social media, so that if you attended, then you consented.

It's not as if they are unfamiliar with these type of things- they themselves only allow certain photographers and there was the trip to the New York school where there were stipulations made about the kind of cushions and consent forms had to be signed to no negative comments or discussion.
