I don't think Harry calls the shots in that marriage. Especially as regards the 'celebrity' stuff. That's Meghan's territory.

I guess she may have seen how dowdy she looked compared to the other female guests and wanted the pics deleted for that reason. But my theory of choice is that it's a PR stunt!

Interesting theory Iced! Let’s see what happens over the coming days, maybe it’s as I think it was you who said upthread a repeat of the Gwynth Paltrow debacle, though in that set up I think GP was genuinely a bit peeved and got her knuckles wrapped and had to make nice as they have the same agent.

A source close to the Kardashian camp has said they are baffled given the Sussexes were happy to be pictured inside the Baby2Baby Gala hours before the party, where they posed with friend Serena Williams.
Another Daily Mail source in LA has confirmed that Harry and Meghan are believed to have ticked 'no' on a photo consent form before going to the ball thrown for Kris Jenner by Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez at their $165million estate in Beverly Hills.
Kris Jenner's Instagram post-party round-up showed a series of pictures of her with Meghan and Harry. Her daughter Kim shared a picture of herself posing with Meghan. But these were later deleted, reportedly due to the Sussexes' consent form.
A California-based source told the Daily Mail today that Kim is fuming. Another expert said that Harry and Meghan have risked losing support from Hollywood A-listers that they 'need now more than ever'.
'Kim was like "you’ve already been papped outside and you were at the Baby2Baby event the same night being photographed like Meghan Trainor and Paris Hilton so what’s the problem?",' the Mail's source said, adding: 'Kim is pi**ed off'.

And if they signed a consent form saying no then it should be honoured. It doesnt matter if pics were taken at another event earlier presumably that had their consent.

I wonder how it works with 'celebs' at these parties? If the 'consent form' exists and the person says OK to having their photos on social media, do the individual photos still have to be approved? I very much doubt Kris Jenner personally put up those photos. People at that level have professionals manage their social media. Do they check with the subject of the photo if that particular photo is OK to go public? Given how closely celebrities guard their public image, it wouldn't surprise me.

Yes, although it's strange though. I'm going to suggest that a reason for going to these parties is to get photographed!

BigWillyLittleTodger · 13/11/2025 17:33

The mystery of the consent form, does it even exist? why pose for pictures in the first place if you don’t want your picture taken at a high profile media event……..

Quite 🙄... I'm going to suggest that's the whole raison d'etre

Very true. I mean, A listers manage to have parties without anyone having a clue, with no photographers waiting at the gates and no pics released on social media. This party was made known to the media in advance precisely so that guests could be photographed. Less an opportunity to celebrate the birthday girl than a 'see and be seen' PR event.

Exactly

AtIusvue · 13/11/2025 17:40

It makes zero sense, other than Meg not being entirely happy with her outfit, why they all had to be deleted.

It really was a strange choice- a tight bodysuit, which had the sheen of elastic, when an flash is given- with a completely different material for the skirt (crepe) - so the contrast in the black fabrics looks like an amateur fashion move. It’s also not the most flattering for her natural shape.

Even if they signed a form, it looks bad having them deleted after they’ve been released to the world. It’s pointless and has now just created another story.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone has experience of social events at this level. I guess the 'consent form' might exist. You might be OK with having a photo to keep for yourself. as opposed to it being posted on the social media account of someone with millions of followers.

There were a few hundred guests at the party. How many of them appeared on Kris' Insta account?

Thedom · 13/11/2025 17:52

loads of posters on SM pointing out that Beyoncé and Mariah have allowed their photos be posted,

i very rarely defend H&M but when you look at the photos posted of the other guests at the party, the now deleted photos of Meghan and Harry are absolutely the worst by far, I don’t blame them for wanting them removed, it makes you wonder if the Kartrashians were having a laugh.

apparently there were no forms!
odd that this should appear in a very Sussex friendly publication, that h and m normally use for stories.🤔🤷‍♀️

Your other link worked, thanks.

"People" is fluff but they usually have good celeb sources and are very eager not to offend the big names. So if they're saying there was no 'form', that's interesting.

It's a fine line between glamorous and tacky! Kris' dress is a work of art though.

Meghan really does look totally out of place in that dowdy, unfinished looking black ensemble.

Yes it’s normally Meghans ( and Harry’s to a lesser extent) publication of choice when wishing to leak a story! But as you say it’s a celebrity magazine, I’m wondering if the Kardashian’s bring in more revenue so if it’s a choice between them and h and m ? They made the choice 🤔

BemusedAmerican · 13/11/2025 18:11

I wonder if the invitation had a blanket statement warning that attendees might be photographed and put on social media, so that if you attended, then you consented.
