He was really enjoying this 😂 as opposed to what he's seen previously .. but what's the story about the Sussex photos being deleted ?

She probably played it safe with the colour and deliberately kept it drab. Can you imagine if she'd went full on glitz on remembrance weekend.

Do you honestly think this was a factor in her choice?

I suppose her wearing underwear, even badly fitted, is better than her no underwear choices. A couple of her outfits in Nigeria were shockingly inappropriate.

Here's a good video on Meghan's ill fitting underwear. There are a lot of examples.

I love Beebs!

Possibly. It was a complete departure from her norm. Just thinking out loud.

bottledboot · 12/11/2025 18:54

What i don't understand is Meghan's outfit. She obviously knew who would be there, the glamour etc but chose to wear something so unflattering, mis matched and bland. What was she thinking?

Presumably she liked it, I don't think it's rocket science.

I can’t help you there I’m afraid! But it does seem a theme for Meghan to wear inappropriate or completely the opposite of what she should wear to outings so 🤷‍♀️

bottledboot · 12/11/2025 18:55

Rules of classic dressing always dictates you not see your underwear through your clothes.

or flash your arse 😆

Were they, I thought a lot of her outfits were great.

I don't think it is. A lot of her outfits are quite bland. Which might be OK in some contexts but an odd choice for a super glam celeb party.

She wasn't even wearing a poppy so I very much doubt the date meant anything to her at all.

It doesn't have to be one extreme or another. I think her black polo neck was a nod to James Bond himself, most notably Rodger Moore. I think she looks great in a black suit, so if both she and Harry had gone in James Bond tuxedos (to which a poppy could easily have been affixed) she'd have looked amazing. Maybe with a black, fine silk top, gently draping, spaghetti straps and with a diagonal row of black sequins to give it an extra bit of subtle glam.

3 guesses who rocked this this look at an awards ceremony 😂

Who is she? Her videos just seem to be criticising M.

So not wearing a bra is inappropriate? Why? Because you might see nipples? Since our bodies have been sexualised and society has deemed inappropriate...

Well I think good for her

Fair enough . If she was happy with it that’s fine but it really wasn’t her best look ( and she has looked great at times).
But for someone who says people associate her with fashion , it was a strange choice .

bottledboot · 12/11/2025 19:03

Presumably she wasn't aware it was sheer. I can't think of one Royal who hasn't made a fashion faux pas, no need to haul them over the coals.

This thread was quite nice for a change, I knew it wouldn't last.

Indeed! Flashing of ass at royal events isn’t a good look!

Omg, that’s mortifying! That’s even worse than Diana’s see through dress, at least with hers you only saw the outline of her legs, not her actual underwear 🫣

I always felt so sorry for Lady Louise when her dress blew up on the steps at Eugenie’s wedding 😭 She was so young, and so many outlets published the photos and spread them all over social media, it must have been awful for her and her parents.

Have the photos been deleted because Meghan realised she was wearing a navy top with a black skirt, instead of the all-black ensemble she thought she left the house wearing? She needs better lighting in her dressing room. Or less wine when getting ready.

Blacks are notoriously hard to match. That being the case, a different choice of top would have been wise.

You brought up the flashing of asses! , who exactly were you referring to then?

bottledboot · 12/11/2025 19:06

@Mylovelygreendress It absolutely wasn't her best look. It was her style though & would work for other events. I just think it's a case of choosing something she liked but it missed the mark, it happens. I don't think it's that deep.

IdaGlossop · 12/11/2025 19:06

Indianrollerbird · 12/11/2025 16:54

Paris Hilton looks like she was wearing the silver version of Princess Catherine's stunning Jenny Packham gold dress, from the Bond premier she attended a few years ago.

Pale blue, I think. It suited her.

It’s unfortunately not altered!

Justdancevance · 12/11/2025 19:07

The black outfit looks like bits from the bargain bin at gap. They don’t fit well and the colours are jarring

She could have worn something sombre if she wished but well fitted and colour co-ordinated.

She’s not doing balecengia any favours

bottledboot · 12/11/2025 19:09

Kate of course, who did you think? I think she is more of a classic dresser in terms of style than Meg. And I thought she flashed actual skin? It doesn't matter to me but let's not have one rule for one.
