It’s not a good look. You are either a strong, independent, talented, intelligent person who was a “someone” before you entered the RF, or you are nothing without the title you took from an institution you branded racist and oppressive. I have never understood why the use of the titles is defended so vehemently. I think she needs the title as it’s the only thing she’s got to lord it over the actually successful, tenacious and talented billionaires she hangs on to, like Jamie Kern Lima.

The really big bucks (the sort of income H& M need to maintain their lifestyle) come from producing, not acting. Quietly getting a production credit on a decently successful film or tv show (and not killing it in advance because you can’t resist keeping your name in the headlines) would be a good, repeat earner. You’d have thought she’d have learned a thing or two from Trevor Engleson about this stuff.

I can’t see it making a blind bit of notice to H & M whether they have titles or not, or want them or not! Harry will still be brother of the king eventually; you can’t “un-brother” someone.

And imho, if too many titles are taken away, especially those that are close to the Crown in terms of family relationships, then that is quite threatening and risky to all of the main players who possess one, as it reminds us that they are a fabricated, rather ridiculous, man-made construction!

Because they are not dependent on the handouts from the king I don't think it will make a blind bit of difference. Everyone knows who Meghan and Harry are, as you say when William takes the throne Harry will be brother to the king of the United Kingdom. No getting away from that!

Harry is on the same path as the Duke of Windsor - he will be begging to be buried back in England after his years of doing whatever he could and maintaining his sham Court in France.

But the one who ran away, who didn't get his own way, who threw his toys out of the pram. He appears as a weak vacuous man only interested in promoting himself and his own happiness.

Harry is royal by birthright if titles can be taken away well why cant we just decide who should be a king, a prince, a princess etc. The whole point was it was based on birthright. Sure I agree strip a title away if you have done something as heinous as Andrew but otherwise if we are taking them away for just any old reason then I'd rather have a say in voting for who should be represting us and wanting someone who is actually going to work for it and ensure finances are transparent.

Harry and Meghan’s titles are everything to them, in the same way that they were everything to Andrew and Sarah. Take them away and yes, he will be related by blood but they will both become pretty irrelevant quite quickly. He could merch himself out as plain old ‘the Kings younger brother’ but I can’t see him being happy to do that given that he still has issues around sausages and bigger bedrooms!

William is going from strength to strength while Harry is on the way down - he's available for any price.
