If Netflix were truly her partners, she’d have been doing the circuit of interviews on the morning shows and getting on the cover of industry magazines to promote the special. I just don’t understand the nature of this partnership and how exactly they are helping her develop the business - especially as Ted Sarandos is supposed to be such a huge fan of Meghan.

I don’t know what she’d sue him for. There’s no contract or duty of care regarding a royal title. They are governed by constitutional law and precedent. The monarch has the power to grant and withdraw them. She doesn’t have a title in her own right, it’s her husband’s. Will she try to claim William is culpable of tortuous interference with her commercial contracts, because she merches herself as a royal, and her contractual relationships with Netflix and the like are contingent upon her being a duchess? She might get away with some batshittery of this kind in the US, but she’d be laughed out of court in the UK.

She would have as much luck as Sarah Ferguson going to court to get her title back!
