But she never did anything other than frothy stuff did she ? She was very attractive when younger but everyone knows that good parts are hard to come by for middle aged actresses.
To the best of my knowledge, Meghan never did any theatre so I have always thought that her main aim was fame and fortune rather than a genuine love of acting .
She certainly has fame but looks like the fortune part is failing.

Not sure if there's any hope of rescuing this thread from the goadiness and faux indignation, but I agree with this point.

"Hate watching" isn't really a 'thing'. Certainly nobody is going to 'hate watch' an entire film just to see a blink and you'll miss it appearance by Meghan.

And that has consistently been Meghan's problem. She attracts plenty of attention, but that does not translate into folks buying whatever it is she's selling on any given day. In order to do that, you have to produce something people want to invest money or time in, and Meghan thus far has not shown much success in this.

Jeff, stop being uncharitable. Her dad was a famous lawyer, she can of course act as a lawyer, and inspire the sons of posters to enter the legal profession. Imagine if Meghan joined her on the show. All our sons would be entering the legal profession!

I'll watch her cameo on YouTube as I find the soap opera bit fascinating. I'm a bit surprised she's not doing it under 'Markle' though as that would've signified she was going to make a proper go of getting back in to acting - I do think she'd make money out of it.

Acting is hard work, extremely competitive and you have to be good, or at least marketable, to succeed.

Meghan is not a very good actress and if she voluntarily stepped away from it, despite having big name recognition and a 5 year contract with the world's biggest streamer, clearly it's not something she has any real interest in. So I'm not sure how she would make money out of it.
