Why is there more online vitriol towards Megan Markle than Andrew?

I find it ridiculous how there is consistent hate towards Megan markle when she does pretty low key things like launching jam that no one is being forced to buy. People were delighted that she is no longer using HRH titles and even said she shouldn’t call herself the Duchess of Sussex (even though that is distinct from royal titles).

On the flip side - NO ONE has called for an actual investigation into Prince Andrew on the days that he claimed to be at Pizza Express in Woking, when his movements are logged by the royal gamily and his security detail so they eill
know exactly where he was!

He slept with an underage victim of sex trafficking who
conveniently died by suicide shortly before her memoir naming and shaming many individuals came out.

Limited criticism of the late Queen who used £12million
pg her personal money to pay off an underage sec trafficking victim & shielded him from any investigation.

Disgusted by it all and was amused to see the vitriol on an article about Megan breathing, whereas limited calls for Andrew to be investigated by any U.S or UK authorities!

WHY?

The Queen told Harry that he would loose his security before he left, he knew that, so that reasoning doesn’t hold up, also it is not the royal family’s decision as to whether Andrew had publicly funded security or not that is down to RAVEC and it was deemed unnecessary and removed in 2022 so it is nothing to do with the Royal family’s priorities. Andrew lives in royal grounds so of course by default he is protected as you or I would be if we rented any of the properties in royal grounds. Harry wanted/wants close protection officers at the British tax payers expense, for some reason he won’t accept that Pa can’t provide that, so if that’s causing a rift that’s on Harry no one else. Harry leaving has nothing to do with Andrew being a sexual predator at all which was your initial implication.

I really don’t like this minimisation and brushing under the carpet of their awful behaviour. I watched a program called The Queen’s terrible year, and it was highlighting the damage the racism claims caused on the world stage, the Queen’s life’s work was the Commonwealth, I’m sure the Queen found it more than a bit annoying that her grandson tried to destroy her legacy, at least she didn’t have to endure the Netflix degradation of her work, Empire 2.0 remember? Plus Prince Philip was literally on his deathbed while the interview was broadcast, it really hit home how badly they treated the Queen and Prince Philip, how Harry sleeps at night I will never know, and this is just one small aspect of their “annoying” behaviour, I could go on……and on……

It’s also brushed aside and not mentioned, that they edited her historical and famous speech from her coronation to remove certain parts and make it more inline with the colonial narrative!
and that is particularly insidious because younger generations and those from other countries will not have realised this ! 😡

It was a blessing in a way that she died before it was aired, can you imagine how she would have felt, that her actual grandson did that to her?

At best they are annoying celebrities that broke free from a cult. That's how I see them. I understand how some people dislike them, they appeared in Kris Jenner party last week. But how is that on the same level of Andrew and Fergie, Charles dirty money and covering pedophiles like his brother and friend Saville and other known problematic people around that family, they way Diana was treated by the institution, the racism towards a kid from their own family, the lack of transparency regarding money while in a public institution etc etc ?

Where did @BigWillyLittleTodger say that? Just because some behaviour is not the worst possible behaviour you can think of, it doesn't stop it being bad behaviour.

In some ways, the lies and digs told by H&M and their people - including the doctoring of footage along the lines of what the BBC has rightly been upbraided for - is more pernicious than outright awful behaviour from AMW that nobody condones, and which can be judged in a court of law once the relevant UK authorities pull their fingers out of their arses. As an ethnic minority living in the UK, I find the narrative that they have spun about this country, at a time when things were bad enough thanks to Brexit, and the consequences for race relations, far reaching and hugely damaging. But there is no court that will convict them for their many lies.
