The royal family

What about Beatrice & Eugenie?

I’m not sure what to think tbh. On one hand they must be so so mortified; on the other they enjoy all the perks of Royalty and their position in the RF despite their revolting father.

How do you see it?

Exactly this. I think they will stand by their dad. They are obviously a close family. It will be interesting to see if they choose to stay with their parents at Christmas or turn up for the Sandringham walk.

Did the Queen leave everything to Charles? How come Andrew is so (relatively) skint? Spending beyond his means?

Will the York girls even be invited to the Christmas walk this year? 🧐

Virginia is no longer here but was a mult-millionaire. Her children will inherit.

Do you think it compensates? The children have lost their mother...

Being a millionaire does not mean a lot when you are dead or as you put it "no longer here"

They're not innocent victims. The Lownie book provides various examples of their grubbiness.

Yes.
Not a hanging offence but
One of them (he didn't name which) refused to be seated among other girls of her age at a charity event saying pretty much they weren't high class enough "To shop at John Lewis" 😂so the plans were changed.
They have 'business interests' throughout the world with some very problematic people.
Also, they were 19 and 20 visiting Epstein with Mummy on his initial release.

LaurieFairyCake · 20/10/2025 08:50

It is really obvious they’re all standing by him though, they’re often seen with him

they act as if they don’t believe he did it

At 19/20, they were still very young. Barely older than Virginia Guiffre who I think we can all agree was young enough to be pressured into doing things she didn't want to do.

I agree and I really wish people would stop bitching about these two women.

And Andrew professes innocence. He always has.
He very stupidly used Epstein as a financial advisor and was taken in, along with many famous people and people of trusted repute, by the charismatic, sly JE. It's how JE worked and gained very wealthy investors.

VG had been a source of young girls herself, had been shown to lie but she, sadly, is dead. Her children chose to leave her.

Beatrice and Eugenie should not have to answer for their parents' gullibility, stupidity and entitlement.

They will continue to adore and love their parents. They won't choose to leave their parents because they believe Andrew tells the truth. He has not been charged.

Very well said.

I wish Andrew had counter-sued but 'the family' wanted it to end and he complied. A couple of others did counter sue and Virginia Giuffre backed down, with one she said she may have misremembered.

It hasn't ended, this will follow Andrew to the grave and if his brother and others did pressure him to give up being royal (and that has not been confirmed, we only know what the media prints), it just shows what they are. I am disappointed that William seems to be a royal clone now. The media doesn't help.

Beatrice and Eugenie will be fine and Sarah is loyal, she's made her own mistakes and Andrew was always loyal to her.

If I were in their position I'd move away from the UK. They are financially stable, it's achievable.

Did what?

Had sex with an apparently willing 17 year old who he probably knew was being prostituted by Epstein?

That isn't actually a crime, he hasn't been charged with any crime never mind found guilty.

He's a sleazeball, but it doesn't make him a criminal or mean that his daughters should disown him.

They seem like a decent pair of young women to me.

Where have they been seen with him in the last six months?

What does 'standing by' mean? I think it's very possible to have a relation who has brought shame and scandal on the family and to be angry with that person, and think that the person has lied to the British public, but still speak to them.

I think it perfectly possible that the daughters' opinions have changed over the last few years but I doubt if they're going to make a public statement about it.

NomoneyNoprospects · 20/10/2025 09:02

I feel sorry for them. Imagine having not one but two parents that horrifically awful.

Even before the Epstein stuff Fergie and both girls were publicly mocked and fat shamed in the press. Imagine your MUM being photographed topless and having her toes sucked. Now their dad has been outed as a paedophile as well. How many of us would choose those parents? I'm surprised the pair of them are as normal as they are tbh.

Since when is participating in sex trafficking not a crime?

I know he hasn’t been charged (yet), but it’s still a crime.

Adooree · 20/10/2025 09:07

I don't know if they grew up well adjusted and unaffected by their parents and upbringing . I assume they are a little like them , and accept the trappings that brings .
I believe one of them lives in Portugal but tbh , I'm not much and never have been that interested in them .

EleanorReally · 20/10/2025 09:11

she has been treated so badly by the press, always.

She walked into every situation. In a time when the Press revelled in these stories and would make them up if they could. An architect of her own misfortune imo

It's not "bitching" to call people to account for their actions, particularly grown women who are now 35 and 37.

No reason why they should give up charity work, though the charities themselves might not want them to be high profile, but they do need to be honest about any direct money or gifts they have been given by their parents dubious contacts, eg wedding present money was given apparently, I think jewellery was also given. Do they and their companies/ husbands also use “business contacts” that they were introduced to by their grifting parents. I am sure they are delightful , kind people but in their own interests they need to make it clear what advantages they have gained through the way the Yorks so boldly sold their names and contacts. Shit sticks and E and B are going to be around for a long time, as are their children so they need to get their clean up act together now before someone starts digging.

Agree. I dont think they have clean hands in all this. They happily received quite large sums of dodgy money from random people without question and are now trawling round the Middle East, and mysteriously their parents have come into money. I dont think their husbands are that rich either. Not rich like their parents would like to he rich. They maybthink their father is innocent but it seems they have wilfully turned a blind eye to both their parents profligacy and shady associations.

There is no reason why he should have known she was trafficked. Businessmen and influential men were and probably still are, routinely offered the services of prostitutes. Not all prostitutes are trafficked. Not all prostitutes are unwilling.

I also wish we could stop calling this paedophilia. She was only "a child" on a technical legality of dates. She was an apparently willing 17 year old. That isn't, in my book, paedophilia, and calling it that devalues that ghastly crime.

EleanorReally · 20/10/2025 09:18

exactly - paedophiles are for prepubescents, ie, under 13

Why did she behave in such an intimate way, when her children were playing nearby, and it was possible to take pictures? Keep it for the bedroom.

Of course women aren’t respond for sins of the father or any family member for that matter
BUT- they are, and have hither too, sticking by him - whereas most of us would distance ourselves from a filthy sex offender /paedophile family member, denounce go no contact etc

My point about the communities I work in was that that loyalty would bring consequences or stigma that they - wrongly or rightly - won’t have to suffer

That is what most people like to think they would have they found out a family member is a paedophile but in reality that is not what people do. Most families cover up for abusers, unfortunately I’m speaking from personal experience as the victim of abuse bit also that experience has been confirmed by a number of therapists over the years as being the norm. Eugenie and Beatrice have never been confronted by that side of their father so it is very unlikely that they will face up to it.

Perhaps "businessmen and influential men" should reflect on why they are offered sexual services. Perhaps... decline?
It's a sordid and murky business indeed.

Read her story, she was trafficked at 16, Andrew knew she was 17.

Erm, What " work" do they do please?

I was only using that as example.

Do they have line managers? Deadlines?

Last I heard they both ' worked ' in art galleries but got a huge amount of time off. Not sure what they do now, but it involves being in the ME, around the same type of characters their parents hung around. They are a scandal waiting to happen I suspect.

Imdunfer · 20/10/2025 09:26

Beatrice and Eugenie do not have a paedophile as a father and are not excusing him being a paedophile.

There is nothing remotely paedophile about a male of any age being sexually attracted to a fertile and sexually experienced young woman of 17.
