My feed is full of people demonstrating gift wrapping at Christmas. Meghan always seems behind the curve.

I had to laugh at Meghan's latest gig talking about herself - who knew she was an expert at gift wrapping?

’advanced’ gift wrapping too 😂😂,

’advanced’ gift wrapping too 😂😂,

Whats so funny about it? Thats the class she was teaching along with calligraphy when she worked at paper source

This isnt something new she is suddenly comong out with, she is just sharing knowledge she has from back when she used to do it teaching others.

So i dont get what is so hilarious about what she said she taught people on advanced gift wrapping.. and? There are always different levels on things like this...beginner, advanced etc.

’advanced’ gift wrapping too 😂😂,

#pippatips did it better.

And that was 13 years ago.

Nothing wrong with it at all. If you're 12 and are trying to show your grandparents what skills you have to earn a few £.
From a middle aged woman, a supposed entrepreneur, mover and shaker?
Not so much.
I think that's the sound of a barrel being scraped...😂

I remember Blue Peter gift wrapping tutorials by Valerie Singleton, she single handed kept sticky back plastic profitable. Of course we didn't have ribbons or Rowan Atkinson lavender and cinnamon sticks so not 'advanced gift wrapping'
We were also shown how to carefully unwrap so the paper could be ironed and used again next year, that sucked the joy out of it. I was definitely the lower end of gift wrapping.

Thanks for the #pippatip, Captain Obvious!

Never forget this gem from Omid Scobie in Finding Freedom about Meghan’s superlative packing skills - potentially written from notes provided directly from Meghan…

Extremely organized, Meghan immediately impressed Harry with her packing skills. She has always taken pride in being a great packer – going as far as layering dryer sheets in between her clothes to keep them smelling fresh and no matter her destination always bringing tea-tree oil for bites, cuts and pimples – and her skills were appreciated by the prince

Yeah, that was ok because we were watching Val when we were about 8..

LaMarschallin · 17/10/2025 15:22

I can't remember if it was the Jackie or the Diana annual that had tips on wrapping in the 70s.
The one I particularly remember was wrapping a tennis or badminton racket to look like a bunch of flowers 💐
The handle was wrapped in green crepe paper and paper flowers were stuck all the wrapping on the head.
Advanced? Pah!
That was bloody degree level wrapping.

Indianrollerbird · 17/10/2025 15:33

Advanced gift wrapping is Smithy from Gavin and Stacey using tin foil. That's what's called thinking outside the box. Maybe Meghan can team up with her old pal, James Cordon, for a new comedy show.

😂😂😂 I wasn't allowed Jackie until I was a teenager 1974. However I was extremely adept at Buntys cut out wardrobe on the back page. I even drew and made my own paper designs with little fold over tabs.... Victoria Beckham eat your heart out!

@Indianrollerbird tin foil was utter genius.

So this world renowned feminist should be applauded for wrapping presents, cooking basic meals with flower sprinkles, and curly writing.

Methinks those were not the skills that bagged a prince…!

Imagone the line in the obituary. “She was an advanced gift wrapper”!

Pathetic 🤣
